:kaukau: I thought Zack Snyder would bring out his best for this film, because sometimes directors can surprise you like that, but he just kind of fell back on his worst habits.  I won't criticize his special effects.  They were pretty good.  Though I really don't quite like his cinematography, though that perhaps has something to do with my preference for films with long ASL, widescreen projection, and smooth instead of handheld camera shots.  Whereas there were fight scenes in shakycam and extreme closeups in this movie, which was pretty difficult to follow.  The good news about that is that this changed for scenes in Metropolis, and Kryptonians are more interesting villains than the Chitauri.  Really sad those actors will never be able to reprise those roles, for obvious reasons.

Though I'm curious.  You say there was this one plot hole that got to you.  I noticed several, so I'm wondering which one you were referring to.  You can share that in spoiler tags.
