Now You See Me and This is the End

Posted by The Dandy Automaton , Jul 07 2013 · 120 views

Two out of five of my must-see movies of July-August down and I have loved them both. They both sought to do very different things, but oh, did they do them well. NYSM had some very flashy visuals, some real convincing twists and great performances all around. TitE surprised me by having so many jokes that made me laugh aloud, particularly around the climax. They were both engaging, thrilling, intense and receive firm thumbs up.

Also I giggled like a girl watching my friend almost leap out of his chair during some of the jump scares in TitE. So worth it.

The music in NYSM was done by Brian Tyler. Just thought I'd let you know that... Probably doesn't make a difference to you...  But it kinda makes me want to see it.

Brian Tyler? I know he did the Far Cry 3 OST. And yeah, these are two of my must see movies this year. Good to hear you liked them both.
