4th, Brewers, And A Hot Dog Bobble Dog

Posted by Kohaku , Jul 04 2006 · 43 views
Sports
I'd like to start off and wish everyone a Happy 4th of July. That said, on to the main part of the entry.

Today I got to go to an exciting Brewer game and watch the Brewers defeat the Cincinnati Reds.

It was an exciting game that had a crowd of 39,280.

The action started in the 4th inning when the Brewers were able to score five runs off of Bronson Arroyo, the Reds Pitcher. That would be all the Brewers would need to win the game.

The Reds did manage to score 2 runs in the 7th but that was it.

In the 9th they took Doug Davis the Brewers pitcher out of the game... he needed 1 more out and he would have pitched a full game.

Now then, one of the things they had at the game was a giveaway. They gave away a Hot Dog Bobble Dog... which is a Bobble head Hot Dog. It is one of the famous racing sausages that they have at Miller Park. I'll have pictures of that up tomorrow under the title, "Hot Dog Bobble Dog."

I'll also give you a report of todays Sausage race. Keep in mind that they race from the third base side to first base.
Brat, Hot Dog, Italian, and Polish all started out the same, it was anyones race. As they turned around home plate Italian tripped and fell to the ground. As the Polish Sausage was about to win he started to gloat and such allowing hot dog to come from behind and win the race. Of course it was his day... tongue.gif

Oh, don't forget to vote for Chris Capuano to go to the All-Star game!

Shopping And Mocing

Posted by Kohaku , Jul 03 2006 · 69 views
Bionicle
Well, I did some shopping with my mom today. Still no Toa Inika by me yet... There is a reason I'm not a big fan of Wal-Mart. It takes them a month to two months to get new Bionicle sets. I never did get me a golden Piraka spine. It would be great for mocing.

Speaking of mocing, I'm thinking of entering the new BBC #37. I've all ready got an Idea. Think Space Pirate. If anyone can guess what game that Idea is from, they get a cookie.

Fireworks, Shooting Stars, And A Ufo?

Posted by Kohaku , Jul 02 2006 · 35 views
Real Life
Well, I just got home about an hour ago from a long and tiring weekend. A very interesting weekend too. I'll start with the fireworks.

Last night we got to watch some fireworks up at my sister's house. We had my nephew and niece (both of which love my Bionicle collection) my brother in-law and my sister were all there. So, my parents and I arrive and it starts to rain. Which wasn't fun at all, the good news is it didn't last long. So later in the night we headed outside and lit some fireworks. Most of the time my brother in-law lit them although my father and I lit a few too. Me not being experienced with lighters, I almost burned myself. My thumb still kinda hurts from that.

Later in the night we watched the bonfire a bit and we also watched the stars. We saw a lot of shooting stars out there. It was awesome thinking about just everything that goes on in the universe every day. We saw some satellites, you could tell what they were because they moved in a straight line. Of course then we all saw something else... It blinked red ans was way up there (near the stars and such.) It also zigzagged up there which is something our planes, satellites, and space stations cannot do. Just what that was, I have no idea. Although I do believe that it was a UFO.

Then, today my father and I went to my other sisters house. (After returning home.) They had a small gathering and such with more of my nephews. One of which is coming over this saturday. How fun!

Bonfire Tonight!

Real Life
Well, I may not be able to post an entry tonight so... I'm doing it now.

Anyway tonight I get to have a fun Bonfire... In the words of the firey Tahu, BURN STUFF! The bad news is I won't have access to wifi... Oh, I'll still play my DS and Metroid Hunters. With my luck I'll find another glitch. tongue.gif Well my DS will run out of power at sometime so, I'm bringing my charger.

Tommorrow, I'll be going to a cookout. Anyway more on that tomorrow because it is still the day of today.

Then, on Tuesday I'll be going to another Brewer game and getting a Hot Dog Bobble Dog. Just what is that you may ask? Well you'll have to wait untill Tuesday to find out.

Another Metroid Hunters Glitch...

Posted by Kohaku , Jun 30 2006 · 46 views

Earlier today in a Wifi match with a friend of mine on Metroid Prime Hunters we stumbled on another glitch that works when you push yourself through a wall with missiles.

These pictures are better than the previous ones.

Combat Hall #1
Combat Hall #2

These glitch if not performed right so you can jump on the invisible floor will result in a self destruct. You fall into the darkness... down... down... down... down. If you do jump to the platform you can shoot through the wall. You can shoot them and they can't shoot or see you. Their shots hit the wall. It's a neat trick, but I won't do it on wifi because it is considered cheating be many. (I did a bit of reasearch.)

I also found that puting a "%" in your name followed by a lowercase letter results in a glitch that has been known to make the game crash on Wifi. Nintendo has made it so that you can't do that cause you won't be able to log on to the Nintendo Wifi Connection. It gives you a message telling you to change your name.

Interesting stuff... If any of you other Metroid fans have found glitches like this let me know. smile.gif

Metroid Glitch And Skin, Each With Pictures

Posted by Kohaku , Jun 29 2006 · 62 views

Before I give you the pictures I'll address a few comments.

lavaside rahi, Now I don't agree with your comment completely as I'm not a Tahu hater. (He was my second Toa.) I don't agree with the fact that he has demanded the amount of followers but, maybe that's because I know fans who like the other Toa more.

Kopaka's Ice Engineering, Turnbow get his hair cut? That would be a sign that Makuta's gonna take over Earth. tongue.gif Turnbow will never cut his hair.

Well, I was playing Metroid Hunters again today because I was bored yet again all didn't go as I had planned in the battle.

The mode was Bounty(Where you capture an Octolith and deliver it to the drop point.) For those of you wondering what the heck is an Octolith, it is a crystal thing that you must get in single player mode.

So on one of my carries in a level called the Council Chamber, I had just picked up the Octolith and was making my escape when I got trapped in a world of blackness. I went through the wall of a level. So here are a few pictures of the blackness, they are not the best so I put a yellow box around the screen.

Glitch1
Glitch2

After I died (somehow I got shot when I was in the wall) everything was back to normal.

This brings me to the skin which was barely visible in the last pictures.

DS Open

I know, I kinda a Metroid freak, but its fun. tongue.gif

Mp:h And Itd And Baseball

Well, I had almost nothing to do today. It's a good thing I bring my Nintendo DS with me everywhere. I played many matches of Metroid Prime Hunters. Of course it was against the computers in it but I still beat all of those 3 star computers. It isn't fun when your facing me in that game.

About this Tahu day thing, what ever happened to Kopaka day? We Kopaka fans want a day too! Well Happy Days to Tahu.

I also watched the Brewers on TV today... and have decided I don't like Dan Kolb one of the pitchers they have. He gave up 4 runs and they should get rid of him.

I Have No Idea What To Call This Entry

Posted by Kohaku , Jun 27 2006 · 42 views

After checking my many sources for info on my theories I have discovered that I'm wrong on a few parts so I'm revising a few of them and will probably send a PM to Greg to get the anwsers to my many questions.

I've been playing Metroid Prime Hunters a bit more and have finally become a three star Elite Hunter. Now all I have to do is get a lot more points and become a Master Hunter and then a Legendary Hunter. Of course there it the problem that every time I'm winning my opponent disconnects. It makes me have the Fury...

Also, today is tuesday which means there is a new episode of Inuyasha on tonight. I can't wait, of course Kohaku is in the episode so that could have something to do with it... Anyway, the episode is Protect and Plunder. Well, I know what I'm watching tonight.

Bionicle Books And Theories...

Posted by Kohaku , Jun 25 2006 · 33 views
Bionicle
I finally got Bionicle Legends#1 and Bionicle Legends#2. And I must admit, they were some of the best out of the bionicle series I have ever read. I must admit, that Greg wrote them well. I don't know of anyone who could have done better.

I have also created a few theories about the Piraka and Makuta... As well as out friend the Karzahni and a possible Bionicle storyline in the future that is hinted to. Or so I think, In the realm of Bionicle anything is possible. Sadly, I'm too tired to type it all up now. So, I will tomorrow, and when I do I'll post a link to the topic here because you never know... I might be on to something.

Graduation Party And Stuff...

Posted by Kohaku , Jun 24 2006 · 29 views
Real Life
Well, today I went to the graduation party of one of my cousins. I don't really know him that much but oh well. It was kinda boring and uninteresting so I'm not going to bother with the details.

This weekend I also have my neice and nephew over. They are fun to have around but can be a handful. They always want to play with my Bionicle sets... It must be because I have so many. tongue.gif

Well, I'm kinda tired so I took a nap earlier. I'll stay up though cause Inuyasha is on tonight. And I've run out of things to say for now so... um yeah.

Metroid: The Bionicle Mission - An Update

Posted by Kohaku , Jun 23 2006 · 21 views

Yes, I have the first chapter written and spellchecked. Plus it has been proofread. However, it won't be posted until I recieve a reply to a PM I sent out about it regarding where Samus's log file is put. I want to put it in the review topic so that it doesn't clutter the epic itself. However, I'm not sure about a few small details, so you will have to wait just a little longer.

Bionicle Books And An Epic...

Posted by Kohaku , Jun 22 2006 · 26 views
Bionicle
Well, today is the day that I will hopefully get the Bionicle Legends books. I have all of the Bionicle Adventures and Chronicles so I'm excited about this. I might also get one of the guide books but I forgot which ones have come out in the last few months. Which guide book is the best of the more recent ones?

Also, before I forget the Metroid epic is being delayed by one day, I'm not satisfied having the chapter end where it is, I need more of a cliffhanger.

Well, I'm off to my Animal Crossing town to go online via the Nintendo Wifi Connection. I'll post what books I get later.

Bionicle Ac:ww Patterns

Gaming
Well, I've been playing AC:WW a bit more than I have been in the last few months. I just changed my town a lot by adding a Phazon pattern to it. I'm a bit too obsessed with Metroid... tongue.gif

Anyway I've created a cool Bionicle Virtues Pattern. Most people here who have seen it have wanted it. Of course when your Town is Named Mata Nui, why wouldn't you have a Bionicle pattern? I'm thinking og making a Hau or another mask next, I'm not sure yet.

Postal Woes...

Posted by Kohaku , Jun 21 2006 · 34 views
Real Life
After I got yesterday's mail I saw that I got my subscription to Electronic Gaming Monthly. The bad news is that it was in a thin clear bag which said that, "We sincerely regret the damage to your mail during handling by the Postal Service."

Now this has happened to me before but the reason I'm more upset than normal is it has happened more than once in the past two months. In order they are my Nintendo Power magazine, my Lego BrickMaster magazine, and now my EGM magazine.

This is disappointing, at least my last Bionicle comic was in good condition.

Oh well, if it happens again then I'll have to go down to the post office and get things cleared up. Mainly because it says this is a rare occurance.

Brewers Vs. Tigers

Posted by Kohaku , Jun 20 2006 · 64 views
Sports
So, yeah went to a Brewer game tonight and saw them get destroyed by the Tigers. It's not even worth putting up a real big summary. Basically the Brewers lost 10 to 1. The Tigers had 4 home runs.

We kinda left early, of course it was after the sausage race. Who would want to miss that? tongue.gif The only good thing that came out of it was my dad and I got our pictures taken before the game.

Now then, I ask any of you this, is it possible for any team to beat the Tigers?
