It's 4:15 AM (Central Time) my dad was searching for our snake. Our snake is a ball Python. So my dad checked all around the house and couldn''t find him. He found him in time, in the bathroom on the floor.
He found him at about 4:30 AM.
At about 4:45 AM I awakened to hear my parents talking about it. My dad says there was a small hole in the roof of his cage, a hole that he managed to squeeze through. Since then I was unable to fall asleep again.
Now when my dad found him and put him back into his cage he kept going right to the spot he escaped from. Snakes are smart, he knew where to go to get out again. However, my dad rigged the top so our snake couldn't get out. I'm home because I couldn't fall back sleep and to help my dad in fixing the top.
Why is this bad, because a few weeks ago our snake got out. He was gone for 6 days. We found him and fed him then. The good news is he wasn't gone for a week this time.
