End Of An Era

These last few months, weeks and days signal an end of an era.

As many of you know I will be moving to New York soon. I will be transferring to a Wal-Mart out there, however I need to finish up here. This coming Thursday is my last day, and today was my last full day. This is pretty significant this was my first and only Job thus far and I have been there for a little over 3 years. And while the place may suck not everything did.

The people made and still make it pretty special. The people at the Saukville Walmart in Wisconsin make it special, I don't think I would have wanted to work anywhere else, the people make that store run. I've seen many people come and go, some were awesome... others not so much. Most people in my department were pretty cool... one other person not so much. Most of my fellow associates were awesome though. Honestly, I wish I could list all of you here and I totally wold, but I do not want to forget anyone. Even some of our reps are pretty awesome and fun to talk to.

It is sad knowing that it may be awhile before I see any of them again, but life goes on and the world keeps on spinning. Not to mention there is still the internet, so we will keep in touch. (Plus another project planned for the future.) Today and the last few days have been a bit harder though because of these facts, yet life keeps on going. I will take my steps forward while always remembering the lessons I have learned and remembering the past as I walk into the future. To everyone I worked with I have these words to say:

Thank you all for everything, I will miss all of you.

This all leads to a future I am both nervous and excited for, not to mention all of the other billions of emotions too. The future is a path that may throw many things at me. I will follow that path as it will make me happy, and I know things will be bright even if this is a very stressful time for myself as well as James. However after I move, I will be able to breathe a huge sigh though and a huge weight will be lifted off of our shoulders. I may be be nervous but I look forward to the future.

Let us all celebrate both the past and the future, today, no matter what nationality you are or country you are from. Today may be focused on freedom, but I like to look beyond that at everything it represents.

Either way, for today have fun and stay safe.

Also, FYI, I shall be on BZP a lot less this month, however do note that I will still be responding to all Brickfair inquiries.
