The Abode of a OTC RPG Judge

Hey everyone listen up

You should totally go read and comment on Snark's excellent beginning chapter to the seven part series for the FTL RPG, documenting the Invasion of Terra. Everything you see there is canon for the RPG and thus is quite good to read, regardless of the fact that it's a good read anyways.

So I watched Frozen

Posted by Engineer Alexandra Humva , May 24 2014 · 160 views

Came in the mail via Netflix, so I gave it a watch and... Yeah. I'd heard it was over hyped so I went into it with that attitude and was pretty pleasantly surprised. Admittedly, this is coming from the dude who can enjoy even the most meh of movies, but it was pretty good all the same. Music was good, even if it fell on the four chords of pop, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The story had its plot holes but I stopped judging Disney films by that a long time ago. Characters were fun and Olaf didn't drag. Would watch again and probably will.

Day 1 of the Pokemon Marathon

Posted by Engineer Alexandra Humva , Mar 15 2014 · 102 views

So Day 1 went pretty terribly; I progressed some in my Diamond game but then forget you had to delete the original save on the front screen so, uh, yeah, that was a bummer. Started back up later in the day but haven't even gotten to the first gym yet. Still, it's early in the week, I'll catch up tomorrow.

Distinguished individuals who are interested in Pokemon

Posted by Engineer Alexandra Humva , Mar 14 2014 · 177 views

Tomorrow I shall start on a most epic quest; marathon playing Pokemon Fire Red, Diamond, Platinum, Soul Silver, White, and White 2. My goal is to have them beaten before spring break ends,  March 24th. Will I make it? I do not know. I will be posting status updates here though, for those who are interested in my adventures.

A Lego line I'd like to see

Posted by Engineer Alexandra Humva , Jan 28 2014 · 265 views

Dug out some out lego boxes as I desperately tried to procrastinate from schoolwork and found some of my old Western lego sites, from ye olde '90s days. They were pretty simplistic, or at least the ten dollar ones my parents got me were, but they were still pretty neat. This bout of nostalgia though makes me think of a Lego line dedicated to the Native Americans, maybe little construction sets of villages. Really it'd be the minifigs I'd be after but I think it'd be a neat little small lineup, make some representations of the more popular tribes, maybe throw a bone to the less known ones. Idunno, I just want some Native minifigs that aren't your typical Apache warchief or Iroquois hunter bits. I want a Sequoyah minifig, though that's cultural bias talking. And I mean there's plenty of distinct tribes and cultures to draw from here; even if you were to just recreate the villages and towns of the big four tribes, Cherokee, Navajo, Sioux, Chippewa, there's plenty to draw on. Maybe look at the Iroquois and the Blackfeet for more northern-coasts representation. All have differing architectural styles, some more than others. Maybe even through the Apache and Comanche a bone, give them something else than the typical Lego affair of cowboys and indians.

Could be something to put on Cuusoo.

Also we can all agree a Lego Thunderbird, be it the car or the mythological creature, would be pretty epic.

My money could not fly from my wallet any faster, though due to the lack of proper in-game footage I would advise others some caution going ahead on this. All the same it's a game concept that deserves any PC gamer's time and attention, and I highly highly recommend you check this out and, if you find it great, do consider helping these guys out.

So I need some ideas

Posted by Engineer Alexandra Humva , Jan 09 2014 · 135 views

I feel this great urge to write up an essay for my blog, be it here on BZP or my Tumblr, but don't quite know what to write it on, so I'd like the masses' opinions. Preferably it should relate back to BZP in some fashion, because I feel a lot like talking about BZP nowadays. Even doing a statistical study on BZP, though that's not quite operational yet. In the mean time I want to write an essay so someone spark my interest and it'll all be good.

This problem of mine

Posted by Engineer Alexandra Humva , Jan 05 2014 · 138 views

Whenever I send a message via a site that doesn't allow you to actually look at the message after being sent, I get all worried I made some terrible typo that completely changes what I meant to say and makes it offensive, but I never seem to have the self control to stop and proofread before sending it out.

WARNING:

The following blog contains excessive rambling on the world and extremely poor paragraphing. If you are easily offended or turned off by these two things, leaving now would be a good idea.

This blog is written by Alex Humva, penname of some random teenager named Alex Censored. He writes stories, writes rants, writes screenplays, plays games, makes games, has a terrible work ethic, and is generally sarcastic. He believes in a Judao-Christian god, but most other people who do too give him a glare because of his weird beliefs, possibly because he's somehow bi at the same time. He's an utter equalist who feels that any discrimination amongst humans for things they were born with is wrong. He doesn't care about xenos though, let them all burn.

He's also an aspiring engineer who hopes to get a scholarship at his local big engineering college and one day help humanity. More likely he'll be a pencil pusher in a basement somewhere, but he's a bloody minded optimist.

Because of his peculiar personality and beliefs, he gets into fights often, though they usually end when he wakes up the next morning and doesn't feel motivated anymore.
