Outbreak's End And Beginning

Outbreak Talk
Many of Outbreak’s players will probably read the title and go ‘really?’ Actually, this entry is about how Outbreak isn’t at end. The cycle is complete, but that’s the catch about Outbreak. It’s kinda like Star Wars. When Episode III came out, did it mark the end of all Star Wars? No. Outbreak is centered on the struggle between Humanity and Outbreakerity, so by the time Outbreak III is over, that struggle will be resolved. But there’s so much unknown. Even my now fully complete Outbreak: New World has gaps in it. Over twenty years (counting the Old Reality) is untold. There’s so much room for fanfic, creatorfic, it’s insane. Then we have Outbreak II. I plan on restarting Outbreak II in a month, as that is a huge chapter in the cycle that is untold. Right now, the Outbreak story is like watching the first fifteen minutes of Episode II then skipping to III.

Many will go ‘aren’t you beating a dead horse?’ I bring Star Wars up for this again. I don’t plan on an Outbreak IV (Though Rock and a member he refuses to give any information on seem to be making a RPG with the same idea as Outbreak.), so really, I’m going go fill in the gaps. And the thing about Outbreak? It takes place in a multiverse, with hundreds of different realities to explore. I’m focusing on the Old and New Reality, but if a fan wishes, he or she can go and make another reality. I honestly don’t know what Outbreak’s fans will make up, but whatever they do make, it’s endless possibilities.

So what can you expect during this school year from Outbreak? You can expect Outbreak II to be arriving sometime in the next months, the complete version of Outbreak: New World to come out within the month, screen shots and a demo of Squad 51, yet another unspoken story, and possibly a trailer for Outbreak: The Movie (yes, that is quite in the works).

Au revoir.

Truthfully, I think the horse has been shot, mutilated, amputated, and now the long-dead corpse is being hit with a stick. Not quite beating the "dead" horse, just murdering it. tongue.gif

WARNING:

The following blog contains excessive rambling on the world and extremely poor paragraphing. If you are easily offended or turned off by these two things, leaving now would be a good idea.

This blog is written by Alex Humva, penname of some random teenager named Alex Censored. He writes stories, writes rants, writes screenplays, plays games, makes games, has a terrible work ethic, and is generally sarcastic. He believes in a Judao-Christian god, but most other people who do too give him a glare because of his weird beliefs, possibly because he's somehow bi at the same time. He's an utter equalist who feels that any discrimination amongst humans for things they were born with is wrong. He doesn't care about xenos though, let them all burn.

He's also an aspiring engineer who hopes to get a scholarship at his local big engineering college and one day help humanity. More likely he'll be a pencil pusher in a basement somewhere, but he's a bloody minded optimist.

Because of his peculiar personality and beliefs, he gets into fights often, though they usually end when he wakes up the next morning and doesn't feel motivated anymore.
