The Pacific Northwest

So, as you guys know, I spent two weeks of March up in Oregon, spending half of it in a small town in the Eastern top corner, and the other half in Portland.

I finished all my photo editing from the trip recently (and my mosaic on the side has been updated accordingly [remember, clicking them takes you to where you can see larger full versions]), and thought I'd share a few more of the more fantastic photos I took with you guys.

Just like the last one of the Portland skyline, these are all very, very, very large images. They are all panoramas I put together from multiple shots.

(This one's a little grainy because I shot it on 1600ISO [which probably doesn't mean much to you guys, but that's what causes the graininess], and I'm pretty okay with it. I actually had to shrink the filesize on this one to upload, the real version is 25MB and won't upload to Flickr, and it is a lot less grainy)

This little town in the northeast corner of Oregon wouldn't happen to be named after a river, would it? or near a semi-famous national park?

I don't think so. I was in La Grande, hanging out at Eastern Oregon University.

Wow, these all look incredible! I especially like the first one: I'm a sucker for cities and highways lit up at night.

All of those are amazing. Were you using a tripod or just holding the camera?

I didn't use a tripod the entire trip.
