Yeah, I'd definitely have preferred a thumbnail requirement and guidelines, seeing that my MOC (Kit Martello) ended up with a much smaller thumbnail than the other entries in her poll. Which isn't to say a bigger thumbnail would do much better, but I don't think being the smallest image present with the top of her head cropped off is presenting her in an especially good light.

 

Not sure what options you have to edit a poll, but if the 75x75 image you used could be replaced with the 86x100 Flickr-generated thumbnail image it'd make me feel a lot better.

I'm so happy there's a poll named "Krystal". Dinosaur Planet for the win, even if it wasn't really a StarFox game.
