Of Random Celebrity Status
This is perhaps the most random story I have ever related. But I swear to you that the tale recounted within is true.

So, I was home for the weekend, as it was my little brother's birthday. I drove down to CompUSA, where my father holds a steady second job, to switch him cars. I walk inside, because hey, I love my dad, and wish to visit for a bit.
I walk inside, and find him talking to this lady and what I assume is her fifteenish year old son. I walk over, and my dad turns towards me, and is all "Speaking of my son, here he is!"
So I'm immediately on guard. My father has been speaking about me to random strangers? This can be no good.
So the kid turns to me, and his face lights up. Before I can even get to the counter where my father is at, this kid asks me "Are you really Darth Vader on BZP?"
I think I just about dropped dead from surprise.
Apparently, in the process of selling this woman a digital camera, my dad had asked what it was for. She replied it was for her son. Her son, you see, had been inspired to build and photograph LEGO models by things he had seen on Brickshelf and on BZP (though he was a guest here, and no more). So my dad told them about his collegiate son who does the same. He told them laughingly that I go by the guise of 'Darth Vader', and the kid was impressed because he knew what I had built, and liked it. Then I walked in.
So I replied to the kid with a "Yes, Yes I am." He then proceeds to tell me I'm the coolest, and that I build the coolest MOCs.
The lady bought the camera, and they left.
I then proceeded to visit with my father, and then left the store.

That is probably the most random and surprising thing to ever happen to me.
If it weren't for my dad's comments on such later that evening, I would be quite willing to write it off as a dream.
Odd.
