Yes, the new software auto-shrinks your pictures.

No, that doesn't mean you can ignore the resize option in photoshop.

Please, for the love of all things sacred, resize your friggin pictures!! There is NO excuse for having such large picture sizes. The pieces in the picture do NOT need to be larger than lifesize. Seriously.

A MOC picture doesn't need to be larger than 650 px tall. I don't want to scroll up and down to look at a picture of your MOC, and if a picture takes longer than about five seconds to load, I'm simply not looking at it. I don't care how good the MOC is. There is no excuse for such laziness.

Also, the auto-resize function is no excuse for breaking the rules. The rule in the BBC is 640x640. Your 2000x2000px pictures are not only insanely over-done, but also against the rules.

So, to reiterate, resize your friggin pictures!

I say 800x800 is big enough for a pic, and yeah it will be shrinked, but who cares. tongue.gif

Everyone in the universe should get lessons in resizing pictures.

I always resized my pics in Paint. It's not too hard.
I still dunno why people aren't using links. XD

Well, for BBCs it's one thing. I know, I haven't been resizing my pictures in BBCs lately, and I'm sorry. Tufi does need to turn them into thumbnails, ya know.

But for your own MOC topics, who the heck cares? They're usually in links anyways, and I thought that most cameras did only 1000 or so by 800 pixels in size! Or at least, I thought mine did.

So, I agree, DV, you have a point for BBCs. But out of respect, it doesn't matter too much in the fun topics unless you put the pictures straight in like you do.
