How To Use Bsbackup
I've gotten several PMs asking me how this works. So here's a (short) tutorial.
That's the URL that shows up in the navigation bar on your browser. The 'm=____' is the username of the Brickshelf account.
This is part of BSBackup. You put the username for the account into the 'm=' field, and push 'get by user'. Then it starts downloading.
If you want just a folder from BS, and not the entire user's gallery...
That's the URL that shows up in the navigation bar on your browser. The 'f=____' is the folder designation of the particular folder you're looking at.
This is part of BSBackup. You put the folder ID into the 'f=' field, and push 'get by ID'. Then it starts downloading.
It may crash on you. If it does, start it back up. It won't re-download images it already downloaded. It works best later at night.
If you are having crashing problems...
See the checkbox? Check it. It causes the program to pause between each download, reducing BS bandwidth. This will cause the program to crash less during peak hours. You can set the 'seconds' box to whatever number you so choose.
The default directory for the downloaded files will be in the BSBackup folder on your desktop, more than likely. It downloads them into a folder labeled 'gallery' or 'galleries'. They will be in folders marked by the BS username. Inside the folder will be the folders in the EXACT SAME order as they appear on Brickshelf. The same files in the same folders.
It's a fantastic program.
