Life Update

*coughs from dust that accumulated on blog*

Well as usual I've been pretty busy. I've been lurking on BZP, checking on OGD, the blogs, and keeping the serials topic updated.

Work's been going great. I'm averaging about $50 cash each night I work + my hourly wage. Even still though, I've been spending a lot lately, but mostly out of necessity. Last week, I had to spend $200 on my car. It needed an oil change; the windshield wipers had to be replaced; the transmission fluid had to be changed (it wasn't even green anymore O.o); and something (I forget what it's called) that connects two pipes underneath my car to feed out the exhaust, had completely broken off, causing my car to run extremely loud, and lowered my milage. Getting that last part fixed cost $100 in and of itself which really stunk, but at least my car is doing well now.

Two weeks ago, God of War: Chains of Olympus came out for PSP and I did get it. It was an overall fun game, but like most action/adventure games, it was way too short. I maxed out Kratos' health, magic, and weapon stats, and still beat the game in less than 6 hours, and that was on Spartan-Mode (hard). I tried God-Mode (extremely hard), but it was way too hard for me.

Last week, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates came to Nintendo DS, and like God of War, I already had it payed for, so I picked it up. It's an over all fun game. As compared to other Final Fantasy titles, it doesn't seem very RPG-ish, but it is fun.

And lastly, a friend of mine gave me his game Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales (DS). It's a very fun game and I'm glad that I didn't have to pay for it :P .

Things at church have been going well. The last two weeks have been part of a special event at my Youth Group, called "The Contender". We actually have a full-sized boxing ring in the middle of the AMP Room (AMP=Youth Group). Today is the final week for Contender, and instead of using oversized boxing gloves, like we have in the past two weeks, we're using actual boxing gloves (don't worry, we've had people sign liability waivers :P ). It's bound to be a lot of fun.

Less than 3 months until adulthood and graduation hit me. I'm not sure if I'm ready for it.

I'll post a new entry when I get Crisis Core.
