Of Cruises, Piercings, & Training

Well the night of June 4th was amazingly awesome. Myself and 7 other Homeschooled graduates all pitched in to give ourselves a night of fun. After spending 5 hours scraping paint and priming walls in my Aunt and Uncle's basement, I met up with the others at one of their homes. We started by driving in a limo (it was a Mercedes :D ) for about nearly 2 hours, where we proceeded to jam out to Relient K and talk about college, and life in general.

After the limo ride, we arrived at the "Detroit Princess" (a cruise ship that sails on the Detroit River). Just hearing that it was in Detroit didn't make it sound all that great, but in truth it was very fancy and all around fun. We had a buffet with prime rib and other delicious kinds of food. The cruise was approximately 3 hours long. We went on the deck and looked at both Michigan and Canada which was pretty cool and we even got to dance to a jazz band's music! It was definately a memorable experience that I will remember for years to come.

I got 4 new earings in today. 2 are silver-colored and the other 2 are black. They're basically hoops with crosses on the front. They look like gauges, but they're really not. They're thick all around, but they have a very thin hook that goes straight through my ear to deceive people into thinking it's a gauge :P . Problem is, they're very thin and I was contemplating getting a 2nd piercing right next to my original one so I can double the earings and make then look thicker and have double the crosses :D . What do you think I should do?

As I went into work this afternoon and proceeded to clock in, I found that I no longer only had "Host", and "Host Training" under my clock-in menu, but to my surprise, I found "Server Training" as well. My managers are ready to start me up on serving once I'm 18! Pretty exciting stuff.

Well it's late. I think I'm gonna shower to get the mixed smell of shellfish and cigarette smoke off of me. (I can't wait until 2009 when we'll be a non-smoking restaurant!) Then I'll probably finish watching Return of the King and wake up super early so I can proceed to have a busy day :D .
