I prefer 3000 myself - the only SimCity games I have are that and a DS version, which is an (expectedly) inferior version using the 3000 graphics for the most part.

I myself prefer 4, mainly due to the vast modding community. And I seriously regret wasting $60 on this newer pile of garbage.
