And "ultimate unlock" means you have to buy every... single... toy to unlock it. That's totally fair. :|

Every toy?  Man, I thought it was just something you got by doing things in-game.  Who has that kind of money?

I've also heard that the new Kingdom Hearts features Rapunzel and other characters from Tangled. Now I know darn near nothing about this game series, but this makes me feel obligated to play it at some point.
 

This is really cool, but not enough to make me buy Disney Infinity just yet; if they continue to add KH stuff then I might have too, though.

 

Disney Infinity seems like a pretty raw deal from all angles, especially the one where you need to update the main game every single year in order to play as the added characters. And both it and the toys are pretty expensive to begin with. Even as a Disney fan I don't think I want to get involved with it.

Yep, there's going to be a Tangled world!  We haven't seen much of it yet, just a few shots in this year's E3 trailer for the game, but it looks like it might be one of the first few worlds you visit so I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a good deal of pre-release attention in the future.  I'm likely to make blog posts whenever news on the series is released so it'll probably show up here if we get more info on it. The basics of Kingdom Hearts are: everyone is Xehanort, everyone else is Sora.  Also there are magic keys that make you a Jedi and hearts are the source of all power.  The remaining details can't be understood no matter how closely you follow the series, so don't feel shy about jumping in.
