The Awakening isn't supposed to correspond to the weapons, it matches Alatreon because of its control over all elements, or some such thing. And the Vangis armor's skills all pretty much match Jho. I think it makes sense.

 

And yeah, people occasionally do other quests, but that's just because people eventually people get bored doing the same thing. But yeah, I agree, people shouldn't enter cities for things they're too low level to fight.

1. Aah. That makes sense now. Does seem a little weird, but makes sense.

 

2. I meant more of the people who join a room, specifically knowing it for say, Lagi, and want to fight only, say, Deviljho. I have no problem with people switching mid-room to something, if only temporarily, like we did with Gigginox.

Of course, a lot of the armor skills are completely unrelated to the monster they are made from, like Mind's Eye on Rathalos+. Then again, a lot are really close.

 

But yeah, especially when the monster switched too shares the same habitat and weakness, like Gigginox, it's not much of a strech. Oh yeah, speaking which, what did you think of my other profile? Not as high in level; you've probably got better gear by now, haha. Originally was my brother's file, but now I use it from time to time, just as a change of pace.

 

I'm considering starting a third file soon, playing as a girl character for lolz.

Yeah, I actually did start the new file. Currently I'm just trying to go through the 1* Quests offline, to work up some decent gear to fight Great Jaggi.

By the way, I suggest getting enough Barroth, Great Jaggi, and Qurupeco coins to make the Blast Piercing helmet, as it really helps with Sleep Bombing if you aren't using armor or gems for it. It allows you to A) do more damage with bombs and B) succeed with the combinations for them so you don't waste materials.
