Disguised, Great Being and 3 more...
Contacted Greg Farshtey outside of BZPower for various reasons and got some info on who the disguised Great Being from Chapter 3 of The Yesterday Quest is.

Check out the topic I created to learn who it is!

Had I known about your birthday beforehand, surely I would have made you a topic.

Congrats on leaving the teenage years behind. :)

For some reason, I was really tired today.

I decided to take a nap for 2 hours, setting the alarm for 4:00 because I had a class at 5:00.

What I did not notice was that the alarm was set for 4:00 AM.

Got to class at 5:50. :(

Still got full credit for attendance.

Room Assignment

Posted by Erebus , in Real Life Dec 07 2011 · 156 views

I recently applied for housing on-campus. I got an email today that I got into one of the newer suites. Pretty sweet (don't kill me).

I then read I have been assigned to Room #0. T_T

Looks like I'll be living in the storage room. *forever alone*

Car Accident

Posted by Erebus , in Real Life Nov 26 2011 · 177 views

Had a car accident on Thanksgiving day while heading home from college.

There was a lot of traffic on the freeway, so the car (Scion TC) in front of me came to a slow stop. I in turn did the same thing with my SUV (Honda CR-V). Unfortunately, the truck (GMC Sierra) behind me did not. It slammed into my car. This caused my vehicle to strike the car in front of me.

Fortunately, no one was hurt. The cars on the other hand took a beating. The trunk of my SUV no longer closes properly. I cannot lock the doors anymore with BOTH electronic keys. There is a massive dent on my trunk with the rear bumper damaged. The frame of the SUV got crushed lengthwise. The front wasn't damaged much, but the license plate and the metal panel containing the license plate were bent on top and bottom. The truck behind my SUV looked undamaged to me, but the Scion's trunk got damaged as well as the rear bumper. A police officer and a highway patrol officer came by to make sure we were okay. The drivers and I exchanged our information and went our separate ways.

Now I'll have to drive my mom's new SUV until CR-V gets repaired.

I come home with an older car, I go back with a newer car. T_T

Habitat For Humanity

Posted by Erebus , in Real Life Nov 20 2011 · 156 views

Woke up earlier than usual to help build a house through the Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity. About 20 students and staff members from my college showed up to volunteer. Though the house was already built, the home needed painting done. There was a massive pile of dirt, rubble, concrete, and stone that we needed to get rid of, so I took part in shoveling it all into a pickup truck. My body isn't built to lift heavy stuff, but I still managed it. While shoveling the dirt, I got to know a couple of the guys from my school. We shared a couple of interests, One of them even plays Team Fortress 2 regularly. :P

After a while, we had to drive the truck to a dumpster and shovel out the dirt. Much more easier than shoveling in. While we were at the dump site, we found four puppies living underneath a trailer. They were pretty cute. Took a couple of pictures, though they weren't great shots as the puppies were hiding.

When we went back to the house, there was a group of Girl Scouts and their mothers who had generously provided us with lunch. We got to meet the owners of the home, who thanked us for helping them out. We took a couple of pictures, cleaned up our mess, thanked the HfH coordinator for the opportunity, and went our separate ways.

All in all, pretty much an exhausting day. My body aches as I type this, but definitely worth it for a family in need.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Miyamoto. :)

(If you don't know who he is, shame on you. And also look him up.)

My BIO Lab class got cancelled for today. Some of my classmates and I found out ten minutes after going to class. Apparently we were emailed two hours before about the cancellation. No wonder there were 8 kids in class.
