I feel happy.

The Annoyance Of Reading The Ballad Of The White Horse

Is that, while an awesome piece of writing, it tends to make everything you read, think, or say, come out in its style of verse.

It has already infected my epic. :P

The Mockingjay is redeemed (partially). And all because I found a fanmade version of The Hanging Tree.

Seriously, it's the most epic song I've heard in a while.

That sums up my view on The Mockingjay, as well as the moral standings of most of the characters. Revenge, suicide, et cetera, all annoyed me.

Yeah, the ending made me feel like throwing up. Seriously. I mean, I may like tragic endings, but in all honesty, this one... Felt wrong, incredibly wrong.

So yeah, I like the first book a lot, the second book was good, and the third was partially tolerable. Overall though, the ending has a habit of tainting the rest of the story: I doubt I'll reread any of the books except for the first.

I Am Sorely Afflicted

With the fanatical bookworm impatience to read Catching Fire. XD

Hopefully I can find it online with semicolons, colons, apostrophes, and quotation marks.

Did you see them going off to fight?
Children of the barricade that didn't last the night.
They were schoolboys, never held a gun,
Fighting for a new world that would rise up like the sun.
Where's that new world now the fighting's done?

If there was a slap for every reference you didn't get, Zar, you would be like a walking bruise.
