Random Inventor Model

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Random, CAD Stuff Jul 12 2012 · 110 views

Hey, folks. I am just popping in really quick to share something that I randomly made in Inventor today, while waiting for Burn Notice to start. So here it is, folks.

Posted Image

It is nothing too special, I know. But I thought it did look kind of cool, so I thought I might as well share here since I am online and all. Oh, and here is an isometric view of it.

By the way, that symbol with two dots and the sun were originally going to be Three Virtues symbol. But since I could not get the curves right for the E loops, I ended up changing it to sun shape object with two dots on either side of it. Hm...I might change it back to Three Virtues, if I do end up going back to this model to add more.

And well, that's all I got for you today, folks. Actually no, it isn't. But considering that thing is work rambling (Which I have already done in two entries straight.), I thought it would be best to avoid the topic. To put it simply though, I had quite a busy day at work today, which is kind of surprisingly considering what week it is.

*tempted* Nope, like I say, I am avoiding that topic, so I will not be elaborating further. Apologizes to those that might slightly been interested in past couple entries about work.

With that said, I am going to call this an entry. Thanks for taking the time to read this, folks. I'll see you all later.

EDITED: Oh, I forgot to say something before I go. I am currently very tempt to join this RPG.

Argh...But I don't think I have time to actually play in it though, even if I were to try and join. :( Hm...I'll have to think about some more, I guess.

The Key To Everyone's Smiles Wip

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Video Games, CAD Stuff Jun 28 2012 · 93 views

Hey, BZPers. I am just popping in again really quick to share with you guys a project that I start today in Autodesk Inventor. What is that project? I am making a Minifigure sized Kingdom Keyblade. :)

And well, to show that I mean business, I thought I should show you my work in progress model from today. So without further ado, here it is.

Yeah, I know it is not overly impressive at the moment, which is not really surprising considering I made this in like fifteen minutes or so during commercials for new Burn Notice episode today. But well, it should look much better in a few days' time when I have more time to play with Inventor.

Oh, and by the way, the LEGO House project is still ongoing thing. I just have had it on back burner for awhile now because I want to take a break from Inventor at end of this last semester. I should be getting back to it soon though, so expect news about that project again at some point here.

In other news, there is just one more day of work and then I am vacation. :) I can't wait for it to start, especially considering it means that I can start playing through Kingdom Hearts I again (And hopefully beat it in time to also play Kingdom Hearts II during my vacation.).

Alright, that's all folks. Thanks for taking to the time to read this all and I hope you all are having a good day. See ya, BZPers.

Edited: Playing With Autodesk Inventor...

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in CAD Stuff Nov 03 2011 · 60 views

EDITED: Unfortunately my digital calipers are dead, so I will not be able to most of what I want to do with Autodesk Inventor today involving this fun little project. I will though create a rough little outline of it to get me start and prepare for finishing details that I will show here in either this blog or a topic on the forums (By the way, if I were to post a topic, where should I post it exactly? I think General Art, but I just want to double check just to be sure is all.).

So yeah, sorry about the delay, but feel free to take this time to suggest which Tohunga from list below, you would most like to see as a 3-D Model. Okay, my calipers are fixed now, so I can get back to work on this in between school work. However I probably will not have it done until my Thanksgiving break starts since I got stuff at school do for the next coming weeks. I'll keep you all update on my progress though with this. Oh, and if anyone interested, I could post a picture of the rough outline for torso, I made so far. So leave a comment, if you want to see it.

In the meantime though, feel free to also take this time to suggest what Tohunga from list below, I should make.

***

I am actually not playing with it right now, but I plan on playing with it sometime tomorrow to try and reverse engineer a Tohunga just for fun and see if I could do it. I think I can do it as the pieces do not look that hard to model. Although the mask will be kind of problematic since it does have a lot detail to them, but I could used a challenge since the stuff in my CAD class is just too dang easy to do.

As for why I am bring it up here for, well, that's because I am giving you all a choice on who I will be modeling in Inventor since I feel like challenging myself a little with the program (That and I might as well make use of it since I still have it on my computer.). Your choices are the following:
- Kapura
- Tamaru
- Kopeke
- Taipu
- Hafu
- Macku
-Takua

You have till 5:30 PM tomorrow to tell me which of these you want to see the most as a three dimensional model. If no one suggests anything, I'll just go with whatever I feel like modeling at the time and post either an image or a video of the completed model sometime later (Probably on Sunday, but no promises. The finish product will not been shown until I get some batteries for my calipers to help with reverse engineering this from the actual pieces I start Thanksgiving break since I am busy right now with school.). And that's about it for what I have to talk about with this entry, so thanks for reading this. I hope to read some suggestions from you guys.
