PokeLog #1 – The Return to Kanto…

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Video Games, Pokemon, Nintendo, Random May 24 2016 · 382 views

Hey, folks. Sorry, it has been awhile since I last wrote an entry here. I have just been busy with my usual life stuff (Work and binge-watch stuff mostly. XD), so you really didn’t miss anything (My Twitter @BZPJMJ covers most of what you missed, if you are really that curious.).

But anyway, last weekend I decide to start a “new” journey through Pokemon Red (3DS Virtual Console copy) and well, I figure I should bring back this theme of blog entries since I know there are some Pokemon fans here.

Plus, I feel like sharing and keeping track of my progress somewhere since I am attempting to catch all 150 Pokemon in Kanto (Not including Mew obviously because there is no legit way of capturing it. I refuse to use glitches to catch stuff.).

This is going actually be first time that I attempt to 100% a Pokedex, so I thought it would be a cool thing to share my progress on here. And well, if any of you are more experienced with 100%-ing a Pokedex, I would appreciate any tips you might have.

Before anyone mentions yes, I am aware that I will need Pokemon from Pokemon Blue (Such as the other starters, the other fossil Pokemon, the other Fighting “Gym” Pokemon, Trade Only Evolutions, and Version Exclusives) to complete the Pokedex.

I do plan to play Pokemon Blue on my old 3DS at a later point to do that. For now though, I am just focusing on catching and training what is available in Pokemon Red alone since I don’t want to juggle two Pokemon games at once (Although it will mean I won’t have an Alakazam till Post-Elite Four, which stinks since they are my favorite Generation 1 Psychic Pokemon.).

But yeah, that’s my basic game plan for this run through of Kanto, so let’s talk about my progress so far. Really not a whole lot to share since like with most Pokemon games, I move pretty slowly through them as I like to level grind my Pokemon to be close in level to one another.

I would say it is paying off though as I completed two evolution lines (Caterpie & Weedle Families) and I have all Pokemon available in Routes 1, 22, 2, Viridian Forest, and Route 3 (Not including ones from fishing and surfing obviously). Last time I played, I had my first badge and I was working my way through Mt. Moon (Only missing Geodude & Clefairy).

So yeah, while I am not making the best time in the world (I have 23 hours logged and I only at Mt. Moon. This is definitely not a speed run. XD), I think I am doing pretty well at least when it comes to the Pokedex so far.

Here’s what Pokemon I have so far (Along with levels & nicknames):

- Bulbasaur, Level 14 (No Nickname yet, feel free to suggest one. Also this is first time that I have trained a Bulbasaur before.)

- Nidoran [Male], Level 13 (Barney; It is a reference to Barney the Dinosaur from an old children show)

- Nidoran [Female], Level 13 (Sarah; It was supposed be a reference to the Land Before Time character that's a Triceratops, but apparently her name is actually Cera. XD)

- Rattata, Level 13 (Rufus; Kim Possible reference)

- Pidgey, Level 13 (Zoey; It is a reference to the time that Yogscast Zoey was wonder-trading Jigglypuffs in exchange for Pidgeys in Pokemon X. I tried to be one of the people to trade her the Pidgey since I nicknamed a Pidgey, Zoey, in X too. XD).

- Jigglypuff, Level 13 (Puffball; I couldn't come up with anything, so I just went with first name that came to mind. In hindsight, I wish I called them Kirby though. XD)

- Butterfree, Level 10 (Anthony; Ant-Man reference, even though Butterfree isn't an ant.)

- Beedrill, Level 10 (Wasp; It looks like a wasp, so I named it such.)

- Zubat, Level 9 (Batman!; This is reference to the Zubatman short that I saw once on the internet. Although I went with just plain Batman since I didn't want to change it when they evolved.)

- Paras, Level 8 (Toad; Mario reference)

- Spearow, Level 7 (Iago; Aladdin reference)

Besides that, I guess I'll share my thoughts on returning to Generation 1 so far. Now when I first heard the news about the Generation 1 games (Red, Blue, and Yellow) being released on Virtual Console, I must admit that I was kind of mixed on it.

This was mostly because I had thought with 20th anniversary, they would maybe remake Kanto (again) in the "new" 3D style in celebration of the anniversary. Instead though, they announced Gen 7's games (Which I am excited for.) and the re-release of Generation 1 in a digital format (Which in hindsight does makes sense, it just caught me off guard as Game Freak had never done that before.).

There's also the fact that compared to the generations that followed, Generation 1 (and 2 really, even though I love Johto) had a lot of glitches and graphics wise some of Pokemon look very strange. It also doesn't have as many of features that I like from the later games (Running Shoes, Better PC layout, Pokemon Centers and Marts together, etc).

Of course, I am not say I hate Generation 1. It's just not up there as my favorite Pokemon game is all. I mean really if I did hate it, I wouldn't of done this with every Pokemon tune I heard in the game, while I played on Saturday. XD

Still though, why did I decide to get Pokemon Red considering I was originally mixed about it? It was kind of combination of things really; the recent news about Sun & Moon and a friend of mines recently beat their first Pokemon game (Pokemon X) kind put me in a Pokemon mood. And while I could return to one of Generation 6 games, I decided that maybe it was about time that I try complete a Pokedex...

And naturally that thought lead to the Generation 1 games as there only 150 Pokemon to collect in those games, so I figure I could start fresh there and use Pokemon Red as my baby steps for doing the National Dex in the future. That's about it really.

Alright, that's enough from me for today. I apologize if this was kind of a boring read. I hope you all have a great day and thank you for taking the time to read this. Oh, and I probably try to do these Pokemon progress update entries once a week, if I can.

But anyway, talk to you later, BZPers.

PS - I should have a blog entry up about the leftover BZP shirts (Which I mention a couple entries back) sometime this weekend. So if you are interest in one of those shirts, be on the lookout for that.

Pokelog Day 1: Groundhog Day Beginnings

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Random, Nintendo, Pokemon, Video Games Nov 23 2014 · 505 views

Hey, folks. I am popping back into today to give you a status report on my progress through Pokemon Omega Ruby yesterday. To be honest, I didn't get much done (If anything, a lot of you folks are probably finished by now. XD).

And as the title suggests, I actually play the beginning of this game twice as I kind decided to take advantage Pokemon Bank and use it to get all three Hoenn starters. XD I only had to erase my file once since I already have Torchic from giveaway during X & Y release. And well, I had bred like a bunch of Torchic in my X game, so I just sent a baby one over once I had bred other two starters in my X game.

So yeah, I have three Hoenn starters now. =D Yeah, I know it is not that much of achievement really (Especially to you folks that have actually caught all 719 Pokemon before.). But well, I thought it would be cool to try out all three starters since to be honest, Generation 3 was probably the Generation of Pokemon that I remember least of (Probably doesn't help that it came after my original favorite Generation 2.). So in some ways, this play-through feels new to me. XD

Really that's about it for what I played yesterday. I mean I hadn't really decide on a team yet, outside playing around with the three starters. I guess I'll mention really quick who is in my party:

- Torchic, Level 9
- Beldum, Level 6 (Nintendo Network Giveaway one)
- Treecko, Level 16 (He was at Day Care when he got to level 16, so he didn't evolve)
- Mudkip, Level 13
- Surskit, Level 5
- Poochyena, Level 5

And yes, I hadn't nicknamed any of my Pokemon. I should probably do that when I find the Name Rater. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that I met Wally (He is such a cutie.). Actually I guess it is a given that I have met him. XD

But yeah, that's about it for my first day in Pokemon Omega Ruby. I am not sure if I am going to be playing it today, especially considering I decided to start watching Star Trek: Voyager today.

Hm...I don't know if I have mention here, but I finished Deep Space Nine last month. I thought it was pretty good and its currently my favorite Star Trek series. But anyway, to get back on topic, the next Pokelog probably won't be up till Tuesday, assuming I played it on Monday.

Alright, I rambled enough here. I am sorry if this was boring entry for you to read. Thank you though for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have a great day. I'll talk you later, BZPers.

Smash Omega Ruby Day

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Real Life, Video Games, Pokemon, Nintendo, LEGO, Random Nov 21 2014 · 494 views

Hey, folks. It been awhile since I wrote a blog entry, so I thought I would pop in today and give a little update. Really there's not much to update you folks on since not a whole lot been going on with me. I just been working and doing the usual stuff (Reading stuff on BZP, watching videos, and playing video games).

Oh, and I don't think I mention here, but I am excited for BIONICLE 2015 (GEAR FUNCTIONS! Oh, how I missed them.). I will admit I am a bit behind of some news about it though. But it is on my to do list to watch all BZPower videos about BIONICLE 2014 during my holiday break next month. So hopefully I'll be up to speed by then and maybe I can comment in more detail about it. XD We'll see, I guess.

But anyway, as the title of entry say, I got my copies of Super Smash Bros for Wii U and Pokemon Omega Ruby today. And I must say I am excited to play them (lol And yet here I am writing this entry rather than just play them already. XD). Hopefully maybe I can play a match or something with some of you folks at some point.

EDITED: Oh, and I am bring back Pokelog on here, so expected to see entry about the start of my journey through Pokemon Omega Ruby tomorrow.

Speaking of that, if you hadn't added me on the Wii U or 3DS, here's my friend code and Nintendo ID in case you want to do that:

3DS Friend Code

Wii U - Nintendo Network ID

Alright, I think I rambled enough here. I am going off now to go play Smash. So thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have a great day. Talk to later, BZPers.

General Rambling - Pokemon Symphony & BIONICLE Thoughts

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in LEGO, Random, Pokemon, Real Life Oct 06 2014 · 417 views

Hey, folks. As mention in last entry (Which I have deleted now since I thought it was a pointless entry since all I wrote in it was that I was going to Pokemon Symphony.), I thought I should pop in today and give a quick update for you folks.

So yeah, I guess I’ll start off with how the Pokemon Symphony went.

Well, personally I thought it was a fantastic event. After all, I got a ton of streetpasses (About 30 or so Miis in my Plaza. I could have gotten more, but some of mini-games like Spaceship one make clearing the Plaza take awhile.) and I got to listen to awesome renditions of Pokemon music.

I also got to meet two awesome BZPers (Aanchir & Lyichir) for first time, while I was there. I kind wish I could talk to them more than I did, but unfortunately there wasn’t a lot of time for that. That and well, I don’t think our seats weren’t in same area (They may have had lawn seats since those are cheaper.).

But anyway, the only really bad thing about that day has I got be the fact that my annoying nervous condition started acting up again (REF: BrickFair VA entry), so I unfortunately I threw up my dinner as soon as we got there.

So yeah, that wasn’t great. But at least, I had the sense to get out of my friend’s car before it happened. I wish I could found a trash can or something though as unfortunately I upchucked on grass covered parking lot. *embarrassed*

Before anyone mentions, yes, I know I should probably see a doctor about this considering how often it has occurred. And well, I planned to at some point...

*sigh* … I’ll be honest with you folks. I kind of have a bit of fear about going to hospitals and seeing doctors. Mostly because I worried they will tell me that something wrong with me will require expensive surgery or medication.

I guess my surgery fear comes from my childhood scoliosis appointments as I will admit I often worried back then that the curve in my spine would progress and I would need surgery for it. And well, the thought of being cut open scares me. *shrugs*

As for medication, that fear is mostly because I am not good at swallowing pills and well, medicine tends to be expensive.

… Alright, I think I’ll get off this topic now as I doubt it is that interesting to read about someone talking about their fears. Uh, let’s talk about my thoughts on BIONICLE returning. That’s a better topic, right?

Where to begin? Well, I think it is cool that LEGO is bringing it back, although I do have to wonder what made them decide to bring it back now as it does seem odd to bring it back after only four years. *shrugs*

Not that I am complaining, but I would be interested in finding out what made them want to give the theme another try.

But anyway, I guess I’ll answer this question next: Would you want BIONICLE 2015 story to be continuation or reboot? Personally I prefer a plain old reboot as that way everyone could start fresh with the theme and it would make it easier on LEGO to make changes (Such as Gender Ratios) without worrying about past story’s rules.

I think a continuation will just have too much baggage involved and it would confuse new fans, especially if it was particularly old fan friendly with it.

Alright, next question: Do you plan on buying BIONICLE 2015 sets? That depends on what they are like really.

I will admit I am not too fond of Hero Factory method of building (Mostly because from what I seen of it, there is not much to it as you just slap armor on a skeleton.). So if it is a lot like that, I might not be that quick to pick them up. *shrugs* Eh...Again, it depends really. I actually thought this year's Hero Factory sets looked interesting (Of course, I didn't buy any. XD I blame video games. That and well, lack of space.).

So yeah, I am reserving my judgment until after I seen the sets firsthand.

Alright, I think I ramble enough for this entry. Oh, wait...

Before I go, I guess I should mention that I got Super Smash Bros for 3DS last Saturday. So if any of you want to do a match with me, feel free to PM me.

But anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have a great day. Talk to later, BZPers.

Pokemon Y

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Random, Pokemon, Video Games Jan 12 2014 · 419 views

Hey, folks. I thought I pop in again since I want to ask you folks something (Although considering my luck with my last entry, it might not be worth ask here at all. *shrugs*).
Basically I want to ask you folks: What starters should I pick for Pokemon Y? I am mostly asking this because I am probably going start playing that tomorrow (after work, obviously), so I can get the event Torchic before it ends on the 15th. That and well, I thought it be cool to give you some power with this Pokemon journey and have you pick out my starters at least.
So yeah, here's your choices for my starters:
Kalos Starters:
- Fennekin
- Chespin
Kanto Starters:
- Squirtle
For those wondering why Froakie and Charmander are not listed, that's because my Pokemon X team already having them.
Hm...I just thought of another question for you folks. Could you give me a name and nickname for my character in Y? I already named my X character JMJ, so I thought just now that maybe I should give you a choice in that as well.
So yeah, that's about it really. I guess I can mention while I have you here that I got the DVD for Pacific Rim yesterday. I am probably going rewatch it sometime next week (Hm...I also need to get around to watch more Doctor Who at some point.). That should be fun. :)
Alright, that's enough from me. *yawn* Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have a good day. Talk to you all later.

Random Entry: My Degree and Fire Emblem

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Real Life, Random, Pokemon, Nintendo Jan 24 2013 · 461 views

Hey, folks. I am just popping in really quick to show you folks that I finally got physical copy of my degree today. You can see it in this picture here. And yes, I edited my name and school out for obvious reasons. Oh, and that badge looking thing on the paper is just there to denoted that I graduated with high honors (I did, after all, have 3.70 GPA there.).
In other news, I took this picture while I was playing the new Fire Emblem demo, which I must say I think I might end up getting this game since it seems pretty interesting and fun. I mean it is either that or I will bum it off my sister when she is done with it since I know that she has preorder it already.
Oh, and apparently Pokemon X & Y news got my sister back into Pokemon as she seem to have jump back into playing Pokemon White and she makes plans to get White 2. lol Of course, she had to ask me if that was right sequel to White (Which as far as I am aware it is.) and if I know where to get it cheap. XD
But anyway, this blog entry isn't about my sister, so let's get off that topic. Hm...So what should I talk about? Oh, you know what I don't have enough time to ramble tonight, so I guess I'll have to do some rambling tomorrow. So yeah, I guess I'll talk to you all tomorrow. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have a good day. Night, BZPers.

Rambling about Life

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Real Life, Random, Pokemon Dec 05 2012 · 729 views

Hey, BZPers. Its been awhile since I posted an entry, so I thought I would pop in and give a life update of sorts. Oh, and for those wondering why I hadn't been posting entries or reading the forums lately, I think it is mostly because I been playing a lot of games on Wii U lately.

And well, beside school stuff, my life generally pretty dull, folks. So yeah, there is generally not a lot for me to blog about (Especially considering FRINGE took like three weeks off due to Black Friday and all. Its back this week by the way.) here regularly.
Hm...I could of probably have done some Pokelogs. Although like I have said in some previous entries, I mostly just been level grinding all my Pokemon to equal levels lately. So yeah, absolutely no progress on the 4th Gym has been made (Which to be honest is mostly because my regular team would of been owned by Elesa since they all are at bit of type disadvantage against her.), and I doubt you folks want to read an entry about level grinding here.
Oh, speaking of Pokemon, I actually have done something beside level grinding yesterday and that was I got myself a bunch of Eevee eggs recently. And well, if you hadn't guess, I am attempting to get all Eeveelutions since I want to try them all out. So yeah, I guess that's interesting thing to tell you folks.
But anyway, in terms of life, things have been going well for me. I mean I am about to graduated from Community College with my associate degree, so I am pretty happy about that. Yeah, I realized it is not greatest time to graduate from college, especially when you are trying to find a better job.
Although it is kind of hard not to be a little happy that this semester is ending because to put simply, the lectures in this course are starting to make me sleepy since our instructor has a habit of presenting examples from the book rather than gives us problems to do.
Seriously I don't need my instructor going through examples in the book for me. I mean I get teaching us the concept and all, but I feel like I really learn better doing the problem myself and asking questions when I need to. *shrugs* Hm...It probably doesn't help that I already knew a good deal about work involve in this course since I did take a night course last semester that also dealt with this kind of stuff.
Beside school stuff, there is not a lot going on with me in real life. I am just going to work mostly, which thankfully it is keeping me quite busy whenever I am there. Oh, wait...I guess I could mention here that I hadn't been able to do any driving this month or previous month. So unfortunately I am probably going to have to retake computer test to get my permit reinstated since it expires for final time during first week of next month.
Hm...I guess I could hire someone to teach me since my father is awful at keeping a regular driving lesson schedule. But to be honest, I think it too late to do that now, so I am probably going to have to retake the test. Oh, well.
And that's about it, folks.  I am sorry if this was boring entry for you to read. But thank you for taking the time to read this, folks. I hope you all have a good night. I'll talk you later, BZPers.

Belated FRINGE Fr-aturday: Up Early Edition

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in FRINGE, Pokemon, Random, Real Life Nov 17 2012 · 515 views

Hey, BZPers. Its been awhile since I posted an entry here, so I thought since a bit of time right now (About 3 hours and 47 minutes to be exactly until the hang out with my friend starts. Yeah, I am that excited. What can I say I don't get a lot of human interaction daily outside of my family.) that I should pop in and give you folks an update.

So where to begin? Well, for starters, the reason this entry wasn't up yesterday is because I been trying to go bed a little bit earlier lately, so obviously I been cutting back on my BZPower time a little due to that. I am sorry about that, folks. But well, I do kind of need to fix my sleep schedule as I am tired of feeling drain when I am at work. So yeah, there might be a drop in active from me for next few days as I try to adjust to a new sleep schedule. Hopefully it won't be too difficult of adjustment.

Oh, and as for reason why there hasn't been a Pokelog in awhile that has more to do with fact that I gotten in one of my moods to train all the Pokemon that I have caught recently to equal levels. Plus, I also been trying to catch a whole bunch of Eevee, so I could try out a bunch of Eeveelutions. So yeah, absolutely no progress has been made on challenging Gym leaders, so I am still in Nimbasa City.

Hm...Speaking of Pokemon, I been messing around with Pokedex Pro and Pokemon Dream Radar lately and I must say I think they are pretty fun apps. In terms of progress for those applications, I believe I have unlock all trivia games in Pokedex Pro and in Dream Radar, I have unlock extension that let me catch the first Legendary in that game (I hadn't use it yet since I tend to have trouble catching Pokemon in this applications due to them flying all over the place, while I have system plug in a charger.).

Wait a second, this is supposed be a FRINGE related entry, not a Pokemon one. *faceplam* With that said, I guess I should mention that loved yesterday's episode of FRINGE. It was great episode and it will definitely be episode from this season that I will be re-watching a lot. Really my own complain about this episode is that pacing wasn't too great. But honestly that is just a problem with this season in general due to limit amount of episodes for this season.

Hm...I really got to remember to go get last season on DVD at some point. Although then again, I still hadn't watch my season 3 DVD in its entirely yet (I have watched season 1 and 2 several times on DVD.). *shrugs*

Well, folks, that's about it for this entry. I am seeing now if I can catch the new episode of MLP today. That and do a bit of cleaning, so basement is not completely horrible when my friend is here at 12:15 PM to hang out. Oh, by the way, we are watching Wreck-It Ralph today. That should be fun, right? :)

With that said, I'll talk to you folks later. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have a good day.

Pokelog: Hurricane Edition

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Pokemon Oct 29 2012 · 823 views

Hey, BZPers. I am just popping in to let you all know that I am still alive. Yup, folks, hurricane has yet to kill me, so that's good news to you guys, I hope. Unless of course, you hate me (Which if you do, I don't blame you really for having such feelings of me.) and that's bad news for ya.

But anyway, it has left me with a lot of free time (I have no school work to do since taking one class makes it rather easy to stay on top of things.), so I played a bit of Pokemon Black 2 today. Although I did not play it nearly as much as I would of like. So yeah, I did not get a whole lot done in the game today. However I think I did enough to at least warrant a Pokelog here about my progress. So without further ado, here is a list of what I done in Black 2 today:

- Well, first off, I finished checking out the Join Avenue. And I must say I think it is really neat idea and I look forward to it being use in future games with hopefully Streetpass functional involved. Hm...I think what I like most about it though is that it makes getting berries in Generation 5 a little bit easy by allowing you to buy berries at shops there. Admittedly I kind of wish they could just let us grow them on our own like they have in previous generations, but I guess Game Freak's logic is that berries can't grow in Unova (America), so they have to import them from "Japan" or something. *shrugs*
- After exploring Join Avenue, I obviously went into Nimbasa City and start to explore the place. And well, not a huge lot has change with it, beside amusement park area (Which had a bit of an expansion since apparently the Gym leader decide to build an entirely new Gym rather than change the old one.).
- Oh, and the town that you can only to get to by train (Anville Town) is exactly same as it was previously from looks of it. It did have a bit of side quest there involving helping someone get back their lost Pokemon, who went on wrong subway car. That was cool. It would of been nice to have gotten like a good deed medal for that, but apparently Game Freak did not think that was medal worthy. *shrugs*
- But anyway, after getting back to the city, I check out Route 5 and Route 16 and like with Nimbasa City, nothing really has change with it, beside having maybe a few more additional people to talk to.
- Although Route 5 did have something new to Generation 5 and that was Hidden Grotto, which we were introduced to by Bianca. I am not really sure what to think of those to be honest since I am not hugely sure how you find them. So yeah, it kind of feels like a feature that will make me spent many hours clicking on every tree that I pass in the game.
- Route 16 also did have something of interest and that was that entirely of Lostlorn Forest was now visible (In original Black & White, there was illusion being cast by a Zoroark over the area. I believe the only way to remove the illusion was to have shiny Johto legenedary trio in your party, so I have never experienced the event there or seen the whole forest before.). You also run into Zoroark disguised as Backpacker in this forest, who gives you a TM and then run off as his illusion fades. I have a feeling that he might be same backpacker, we met two years ago in Black.
- Alright, so after all that, I went back to Nimbasa City and explore the amusement park in more depth. I ended up finding someone's lost Xtransceiver, who end up calling me on it using an older model and asks me to hold on to until they have time to get off from work. So I agreed to hold on to it and they call me back with weird comments like "You're a boy...Oh, I am girl, by the way," and "Video Games, are your hobby, eh?" (How did she even get that information? Is she a stalker or something?).
- Beside that, I also took a ride on Rondez-View Ferris Wheel with Nursery Aide June and that was interesting to say the least.
- And after that, I explored the former roller coaster Gym for a bit. Once I was done that, I saved the game and turned it off for the night since I was getting a headache by having game sound on too loud with earbuds in.

Alright, that's all I really did in Pokemon Black 2 today. Admittedly I probably miss a lot of stuff to mention here. But it is midnight here and as much as I would like to check things in this entry over repeatedly, I am tired and I have work in the morning, so you will just have to deal with any of spelling or grammar issues in this entry.

With that say, I hope you all have a good night and thank you for taking the time to read this. Good night, BZPers.

Mini-Pokelog: JMJ makes little progress in Pokemon Black 2

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Pokemon Oct 24 2012 · 531 views

Hey, BZPers. I am just popping in to give you all update. In particularly, a Pokemon related update since I have been kind of slacking on that. lol Not there is whole lot to update on since as the title says, I am have made very little progress in the game since the last Pokelog.

So yeah, you are not going seeing me list that I beat the Elite Four or anything like that (That entry is probably a month from now.) here. But here is what I have done in Pokemon Black 2 sometime last week and today:
- I got my third Gym badge from Burgh; which like my Black playthrough, it was a cakewalk for me since I basically just tank the Gym's Bug Pokemon with my Magby (Lit'Tahu).
- So after my victory with the Gym leader, I went northward to go check out Route 4 since I thought logically it would be route out of the city to open up (Alright, you caught me. I did check to see if Skyarrow Bridge was open. It wasn't. :( ). Before I can get too far though, I was stop by that scientist guy (I think his name is Colress.) from sewers and he ask me if he could take a look at my Pokemon. I saw no harm in it (Well, actually I was kind of suspiciously of him as I do get this feeling that he is part of the new Team Plasma.), so I let him. After that, he asked me to meet him at Route 4 for a battle.
- I didn't feel ready though to battle him, so I did some training in sewers for a bit. Of course, that was completely unnecessary as he only have a team of two on him, so he was pretty easy. Oh, and I have to give Game Freak some points here as I was totally not expecting the "boulders" on Route 4 to be Crustle.
- But anyway, after that, I wander around the route to check out the new developments since unlike Castelia City, there was more than just little changes to the place. Although really it is not surprising since in the previous game, there was construction going on in this route, so naturally the construction on this route should be done by now as two years has gotten by. I had a lot of fun exploring it for hidden items (Which by the way, even though I do have item finder, I can't say it stop me from checking every trash I see. XD Pokemon, what have you done to me? I am trash picker because of you!).
- Oh, and from what I heard from a NPC by overhead bridge to next city, it sounds like this route might actually be different in White 2. I say this because he had said places with ruins are being developed over and as result, we are are losing part of history; which at least to me, it sounds like something that would only happen in the Black version of the game since it generally more urban friendly. But anyway, I brought that up because I think I might get White 2 at later point as I wouldn't mind checking out possibly more differences that the two games have. *shrugs*
- After exploring for awhile, I decided to head up to next city to see if it had change at all. But apparently a new location was added between the city and this route because instead of normal gate to city, there was something called a Join Avenue there. And well, I hadn't explore it yet since I had to go to class. So this is where the Pokelog update ends.

Yeah, like I say earlier, I did not get a lot done in Pokemon Black 2 today. I wish I could of play more of it, but I had a class to go to. And I ended up using most of my home free time to watch the new Ninjago and Supernatural episodes on tonight. That and I played the LEGO Lord of Rings demo on my 3DS during some of commercials for those shows. So yeah, I wasn't able to find the time to play more of Pokemon Black 2.

Alright, its getting late here and as much as I would like to talk about some other stuff like Ninjago or LEGO Lord of Rings demo, I will have to can those ideas for now as I am kind tired (No doubt it shows as this is probably painful to read for some of you.). So yeah, I'll save that stuff for later. Unless of course, you folks rather I not talk about that stuff. Until then, thanks for taking the time to read this. Good Night, BZPers.
