D&D Results Thing

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in BZPower, Random Feb 25 2014 · 74 views

I thought I might as well join in on this blog fad, so here's my results:
 You Are A:
Neutral Good Human Wizard/Sorcerer (1st/1st Level)

Ability Scores:
Strength- 8
Dexterity- 10
Constitution- 9
Intelligence- 14
Wisdom- 12
Charisma- 9

Neutral Good- A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias for or against order. However, neutral good can be a dangerous alignment when it advances mediocrity by limiting the actions of the truly capable.

Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Primary Class:
Wizards- Wizards are arcane spellcasters who depend on intensive study to create their magic. To wizards, magic is not a talent but a difficult, rewarding art. When they are prepared for battle, wizards can use their spells to devastating effect. When caught by surprise, they are vulnerable. The wizard's strength is her spells, everything else is secondary. She learns new spells as she experiments and grows in experience, and she can also learn them from other wizards. In addition, over time a wizard learns to manipulate her spells so they go farther, work better, or are improved in some other way. A wizard can call a familiar- a small, magical, animal companion that serves her. With a high Intelligence, wizards are capable of casting very high levels of spells.

Secondary Class:
Sorcerers- Sorcerers are arcane spellcasters who manipulate magic energy with imagination and talent rather than studious discipline. They have no books, no mentors, no theories just raw power that they direct at will. Sorcerers know fewer spells than wizards do and acquire them more slowly, but they can cast individual spells more often and have no need to prepare their incantations ahead of time. Also unlike wizards, sorcerers cannot specialize in a school of magic. Since sorcerers gain their powers without undergoing the years of rigorous study that wizards go through, they have more time to learn fighting skills and are proficient with simple weapons. Charisma is very important for sorcerers; the higher their value in this ability, the higher the spell level they can cast.
Detailed Results:

Chaotic Good ---- XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (17)
Chaotic Neutral - XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (15)

Nighttime Rambling: An Update

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in BZPower, Random Jan 11 2014 · 61 views

Hey, folks. I am mostly popping in now to give ahead to the people waiting on me to ship raffle stuff. I will be shipping all the packages tomorrow (Note: People that won shirts will have to wait till next weekend. Sorry.). I'll be sure to contact all of you once I have done so.
In other news, I been thinking about maybe hosting another contest here in a couple months. It will involve making MOCs based on a music theme rather than being a raffle.
Why its a music theme? Because recently I notice a few BZPower artists have released albums ("Oh, Tonight," by Nervous Pudding; "Alien Grenade Launchers," by Necro; "The Story," by Reznas), so I thought it might be cool to host a contest around that theme to help promo them some more. That I was thinking of having prizes for it be like the albums maybe (Bandcamp does have a gift option, so it should be easy enough to use as prizes for something like this.).
*shrugs*  I don't know. It just an idea. What do you folks think? Should I think about setting it up or do you think it is waste of time?
*yawn* Alright, I should probably head to bed. Thanks for taking the time to read this, folks. I hope you all have a good day.
Talk to you later, BZPers.

Late Night Rambling: Raffle Reminder, Doctor Who, ect.

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in BZPower, LEGO, Random Nov 30 2013 · 65 views

Reminder: The raffles that I am hosting here end on November 30th at 11:00 PM EST. So if you want to enter for BZPower shirt or TNG Miru, then you better be quick as you don't got much longer.
Hey, folks. It been awhile since I made an entry, so I thought pop in again with a bit of update. That and well, obviously as stated above, I want to remind you that my raffles are closing soon, so you folks better get a move on if you want to enter in those.
But anyway, here is a quick little update from me. Really there's not a lot say since all I been doing this week (Beside going to work and going to my grandparents' for Thanksgiving dinner.) is watching Doctor Who since last weekend, I kind of decided to watch more of series. And I got to say that I am loving it. I would ramble about it, but I don't want to keep you folks here too long. XD
Oh, and I am currently on series 4 for those that might be wondering.
In other news, I did get to play a bit of LEGO City: Undercover today and I am going to see about playing more of it soon, so I can write up a review for you folks to read next month.
Speaking of LEGO stuff, would you folks want to see the 12 Days of Brickmas again? Basically for those that doesn't know, last year I kind did a little challenge for myself to create at least one MOC each day before 25th of December. And well, I thought it was pretty fun last year, so I thought I might give it a shot again. I mean I doubt my MOCs will be any good really.
But hey, you never get good at anything, if you don't try. So I think it would be worth doing again. *shrugs* Still I'll leave it up to you folks to decide if I am to share what I created again. So yeah, let me know what know what you think.
Alright, I think I kept you folks long enough. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope you all have a great day. Talk to you all later, BZPers.

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in LEGO, Video Games, BZPower Nov 23 2013 · 77 views

Hey, folks. I thought I pop in again and ask you all a question. It technically one that I ask before here, but I thought it bring it up again since I do have a couple days off next week, so I have a bit of free time to do some stuff probably.
But anyway, my question is this: Would you folks like to see a review on LEGO City: Undercover here? As I have said above, I have asked this question before and some have expressed interest in maybe seeing a review from me. Of course, I never did get around to those times since there is always other things that pop up that distract me from doing so. XD
That being said, I still would like to kind of do one. So I been thinking maybe going back to LEGO City during my brief break next week and then next month, take a couple of weeks to work on writing a review for it. Of course, that's pending on if you folks want to see it.
Oh, and if I do end up doing this review, does anyone know if we are allow to post LEGO game reviews in the Media Discussion forum or is it best to just keep in my blog here? Just curious as I know you can post LEGO set reviews in the Set Discussion forums, but I don't see anything in the rules stating that LEGO game reviews are allow anywhere. So yeah, I guess I would keep in my blog then, unless someone else can tell me posting it in the Media Discussion Forum is fine.
Alright, that's pretty much all I have to talk about for this entry. I appreciate anyone that takes time to answer my questions here. If you don't have an answer, then thanks anyway. And I hope you all are having a good day today. Talk to later, BZPers.

Belated Raffle Update - Halloween Edition

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in BZPower, Random Oct 31 2013 · 68 views

Hey, BZPers. I am glad to see the forums are back. Thanks Black Six and the staff for all their efforts.

Its stinks that we lost two months though, especially considering my Transparent Neon Green Miru and BZPower shirt raffles started during those months. Thankfully I was able to pull most of information for my raffles, so I should be able to set that up here again by this weekend.

That being said though, I guess I should mention here that I am removing the requirement of having creative work posted in forums. Since in practice, I don't think my original idea for these raffles really work that well.

That and I am honoring those that have entered already with a spot in these raffles, so I might as well in the interest of fairness just open them all up completely for everyone to enter.

Uh, let me know if any of you have any problem with that. Oh, and due to Data Slip, I am pushing the close date for this to December 1st, 2013. Hopefully that will be more than enough time for you folks to enter it.

Alright, with that out of way, I guess I might as well talk about other stuff here. I'll start off by mentioning that I saw the new trailer for the LEGO: The Movie and I got say I am kind of excited for it. Yeah, the humor is kind of cheesy.

But honestly I don't really mind since I wasn't really expecting this film to be like super serious or something. That and well, my inner child and me are still pretty good friends, so there's that. XD

In gaming related news, I got my second badge in Pokemon X recently (I don't recall what day it was. XD) and I caught about five Eevee so far on Route 10. Obviously the reason that I am hunting Eevee currently is because I am planning on try to get all Eeveelution this Generation since I actually never done that before.

Oh, and here is my friend code, if you want to add me for whatever reason: 5412-9992-6542
Alright, I kept you folks here long enough. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have a great day. I'll talk to you all later, BZPers.
Oh, and have a happy Halloween, folks.

Nightly Rambling: 13 Transparent Neon Green Miru Edition

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in BZPower, Random Aug 20 2013 · 64 views

Hey, folks. I am just popping in today to well, inquire about something involving the raffle that I was planning on doing here. And that something is: Would you folks be interest in these 13 Transparent Neon Green Miru being raffle off along with this box of BZPower 2012 shirts? Just wondering since I was thinking about maybe setting this raffle up here for next month.
Alright, that's all I have for you folks today...Well, actually I guess I could mention that I got my LEGO DeLorean last Friday. I'll try to get some good pictures of it to show you folks later. Oh, and I am enjoying Dream Team so far (Not saying anymore than that since I don't want to spoil things for anyone. Although I am not very far to be honest.).
Okay, that's enough out of me. I am sure you all have better things to do than waste your time reading my blog. So yeah, thanks for taking time to read this and I hope you all have a good day. Night, BZPers.

Random Thoughts of the Day

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Random, Real Life, BZPower Jul 29 2013 · 58 views

Hey, BZPers. I am just popping in to share some random thoughts that I had today. So this entry is nothing special really.
Oh, and before I start, I really recommend you folks check out the music here by the talent BZPower member, snoip lion. It is really good. It kind makes me wish that something tangible actually came out of BNG, beside the awesome beta music. But eh, they dreamt too big, I suppose. *shrugs*
Alright, moving on from that plug, I guess I should mention why I hadn't post the raffle entry yet and well, it is mostly because Zelda Symphony threw me off last week. That and well, I am kind thinking I should push it back till September since BrickFair and Titans & Monsters contest are happening in August and all. *shrugs* What do you think, folks?
Oh, wait, some of you might not know what I am talking about. Basically I am planning on hosting kind of raffle here to give away some of last year's BZPower shirts and some Lime Green Miru that I have.
Hm...Speaking of August, I been thinking about maybe taking a break from BZPower and the internet in general after this week since I think it might help me actively work on my weight problem. I mean I am already working on bettering my diet, but I think removing my computer access to internet might encourage me more to exercise in my day (Which is something that I don't get much of due to having a 8 AM to 5:30 PM office job that mostly involves working on a computer.). *shrugs*
Maybe I shouldn't of mention this actually since now people are probably going to make funny of me for being overweight. :( Argh...I wish weight-loss was easy. ... ...
Uh...Let's move on to something else. Uh, how's the weather been for you folks? It feels almost like spring where I am, so it been good for me. :)
I...I can't think of any more thoughts to share, sorry. So that's all I got for you folks today. I am sorry if this was kind of boring for you to read. I hope you all have a great day. Talk to later, BZPers.

Belated Zelda Symphony Entry

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Real Life, BZPower Jul 27 2013 · 54 views

Hey, folks. I am just popping to let you know how this Thursday went since I thought I might as well, in case you folks are interest in hearing how symphony was and if I got everything that I want done that day.
The short answer to this is that symphony was awesome and I got more streetpasses than I ever gotten in my life there (Even more than amount, I got during BrickFair visit last year, which was around 20 Miis.). As for tasks that I assigned myself for that day (Ship a package, get a haircut, and go take permit test at DMV.), I only managed to get my haircut that day since my motivation for that day kind of fell apart when I realized that my package need to be there by yesterday (Friday).
So yeah, there was no way that was going to happen, unless I spent a lot of money on shipping and I really didn't want to do that as such my package plans were discarded. As for DMV test, I felt like it would of been cutting it too close with the time that I had to leave for symphony, so I didn't do it. (Hm...I'll probably take day off in August to deal with that. *shrugs*)
But anyway, back to Symphony itself, I got say it was interesting experience for me much like BrickFair was last year, especially considering this is first that I have seen cosplayers in real life before and they all look pretty cool. I wish I had a camera actually, so I could of took pictures of some of people and stuff at the event.
I didn't bring the camera that I used at BrickFair last year since technically it is "cheap" camcorder, so pictures would of been awful at best. That and I wasn't sure if it would break this rule, "do not bring professional cameras or recording equipment (including cameras with detachable lenses, any form of camera stand or audio/video recording devices)."  I imagine it wouldn't break that rule since again, it was just a cheap camcorder. But I didn't want to take the risk.
That and I had enough things to keep track of on my person such as my 3DS, my dying cell phone (Didn't charge it beforehand since I don't even really use it ever.), my house keys, and wallet, which all take up a lot of pocket space (Especially when wearing some of my work pants since some of their pockets are nowhere near large enough for my purposes.).
Speaking of the 3DS, I manage to collect 30 Miis in Mii Plaza (I could gotten more, if I clear my Plaza some more during the show.), 50+ Fire Emblem: Awakening steetpasses, 50+ gems in Kid Icarus: Uprising, 8 portals in Kingdom Hearts 3D, 21 customers in Pokemon Rumble Blast, and 20 or so houses in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. So overall, it was pretty good haul.
Could of it been better for titles like Mii Plaza? Yeah, definitely could of if I had been more active about clearing my Plaza out there. But well, after how long it took to clear it out first time (I have all new Plaza games. Oh, by the way, Mii Force is definitely a lot better when you have a group of ten Miis. Although it still takes a little too long to beat a level in.), I kind just chill and causally chat with my friend, while he kept playing. *shrugs*
Oh, and for those wondering, I didn't pick up the poster or shirt since my sister and best friend are not exactly most patience people (Heck, it is why when we were considering another day trip to BrickFair [Which as I mention before, this can't happen now since my friend has a wedding to attend.], we have intend to buy one day visitor passes online since my friend wasn't  a fan of line last year. Not that I am saying, I am a fan of lines or anything. XD I just have patience to get through them is all. After all, I did have patience to wait at my community college for six hours for a class to start. =P).
And well, that's all I can really think of mention here about Zelda Symphony. It was fun evening/night and it made up for most of my plans for day getting dash due to my lack of foresaw.
Alright, with that said, I guess I should talk about elephant in room that also show up this Thursday, which is BZPower has finally revised advertising policy.
Honestly I don't have much of opinion about it since it never really bug me in first place as I only really go to this community on the web regularly, so it is not like I have anything to share with you folks outside of this site. Well, maybe a video or trailer of something that I am hype about such as Legend of Korra, Book 2 trailer (Not actually going to link it though since I am sure you all seen it by now.).
Hm...I guess I could link to my Twitter (Technically we were allow to do that before, unless I am wrong.), but I rather not subject you to my occasionally melancholic tweets about myself there. *shrugs* As for Facebook, I barely use it at all and I rather not share a link to my personal Facebook profile. You can find me in BZPower Facebook group though, if you are really interest in finding me for whatever reason.
So yeah, this change doesn't really affect me much, outside of being able to well, mention other places here (Which is nice.). So thanks to BZPower staff for doing this. I am glad to see that they are very much listening to their community here.
Alright, that's all I got for this entry. I hope you all have a great day and thanks for taking time to read this boring recap entry. Talk to later, BZPers.

Plans for next few weeks...

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in BZPower, Real Life, Video Games, Random Jul 20 2013 · 39 views

Hey, folks. Back again to ramble a bit here about next week since I got a few things planned....Some of them might even be BZPower related like I am shipping my BrickFair package out on Thursday next week.
That package, by the way, is probably just going to be two MOCs since I feel like they are best ones that I have currently. That and they are pretty easy to photograph since they are not very complex. Not that I am saying my others are complex really since I mostly just mean that they are more likely to have loose pieces than these two would. *shrugs* Oh, and I might put a hat in my box since you BZPers are all obsessed with that piece of headgear. That and you all can say I was there in spirit. =P
In other BZPower related news, I am going be setting up my BZPower shirt raffle thing next week. So if you are interested in a chance at getting a free BZPower shirt, you should check that out. You do have do something, of course, to qualify for a chance at getting one of these shirts or some of Bionicle pieces that I am giving way. Its simply though. All you got to do is provide a link to a post that you made in creative outlet forums recently. There will be more information about that in entry itself. Oh, and its not restrict to just members from USA/Canada (Although it might take longer to get to you.).
Alright, so beside BZPower stuff, I am going to Zelda Symphony next Thursday, so that should be fun assuming it isn't unbearable hot that day. I sure hope not as that will not be fun. XD Oh, and also on Thursday, I plan to take written exam to get my permit again. Hopefully this time, I'll get to use my permit a bit more and actually be able to get my license finally. Here's hoping for that as it make attending a BrickFair in full more of possibility in the future.
In other news, Book 2 of Legend of Korra has been announced for a September release, so I am pretty excited for that, especially after watching the trailer. That news also did good job of reminding that Part 2 of The Search has come out, so I am looking forward to read that next week when it arrives at my home and when I get a chance to actually read it.
In gaming related news, I got myself Earthbound on Wii U yesterday, which I am probably going to play a lot of tomorrow, if I don't end up marathon-ing Avatar: The Last Airbender or playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf (Which I really need to get back in habit of playing daily.) instead.
Oh, and speaking of Wii U, I am going probably be posting a LEGO City review sometime late August since I been really itching to do that, even though the game has been out for awhile now. Beside, I'll be frank with you folks that while I do enjoy the game, it is not a system seller by any means.
So yeah, the review is not going be like "go buy Wii U, you fools". I am just going share my thoughts of it and list some pros and cons and stuff. Oh, and I'll be sure to keep my fingers away from typing any story spoilers of it, so those that hadn't experience it yet will be safe. Assuming this review is well received, I might make a habit of doing reviews like that in future. We will just have to wait and see, I guess.
Alright, I think I ramble enough here about my plans for next week and stuff. I hope this entry was slightly interesting to folks. If not, sorry about that. Thanks though for taking time to read it all. Talk to you later, BZPers.
EDITED: Oh, happy birthday, BZPower. Thanks to the staff for all your efforts throughout the years here. I hope BZPower has many more years to come.
