Wip Update 1

So I have a WIP up my sleeve... well it's out now, but I've been holding back on it for awhile. Mainly for the reason of being distracted by other contest and ideas along the way.   *She* actually has a tail now, and has been updated more, with major added details, but the bad weather has left me without pictures....   I leave you with this Pic for now.... can anyone guess what it is? Or what it is going to be? Or what it will be in the future? Weh, to many qustions for ya.   And Ballom,

What Do You Think About The Ben 10 Sets?

Do you know that feeling you get when you think you don't have enough of a critical piece for a MOC, and then you find out you do?   Like Primus and Laka, I've been building a MOC to work with some of the Ben 10 pieces. I plan on picking up Jetray this week, so I can finish the guy up.   I at least need to get 2 or 3 MOCs out of the set to make it worth the price....   So, what are your opinions on the Ben 10 sets? I know most people don't have them, but I'd like to hear anyway.

What Do You Call An Interest In Building With Lego

There needs to be a word for building with LEGO products. I'm working on my resume for an internship at a hospital, and I wanted to put LEGO as one of my interests. I wish there was some official word, or a professional term, for people who build with LEGO. Maybe we can create one, if the term does no already exist.   Thoughts? Ideas?   -BD

Twilight Princess

Finally finished Twilight Princess. Got the game when it first came out and played it over Winter break back in 06. When the break was over, I stopped playing. Here it is almost two years later and I got around to playing again.   Oh, please tell me the Legend of Zelda Movie trailer that appeared on or around "April Fool's Day" is fake...     ~BD~

Troubles We May Face On Our Journey

I actually have no clue if this makes sense...   I've had these strange thoughts on MOCing lately as my time winds down for departing with you all. Where should I begin? You look across all of your pieces huddled together in a large blue container. Many, many, many, pieces of diffrent shapes, sizes, and colors. Anyway, as you begin to build something, you get hit with reality... MOCing can be difficult at times. But that's what you like about it. It challenges you to try something diffrent. So yo

This Is What Keeps Me Going...

Here   In the MOCing field of course. Skills like that are very useful, and inspirational.   Retinece's style has always reminded me of a new and old Primus style.   I need to blog more about me in the next few days.   -BD

The Yellow Beast

Working with Keet orange is very difficult for the lack of pieces, but I have finaly pulled off something very impressive with it.   It pays having two Keetongu. The pieces really came in handy when making the leags and arms.   I must say, I think I have pulled off a more beast like side of him. After all, he is supposed to be a rahi.   You know the hardest thing was the head. I really wanted to stick with the original head plate. I guess luck was on my side because the design worked perfe

The Many Deaths Of The Bom And Naruto

Woot woot! I have a Toa Tuyet variant out! Her Little Page   What really suprised me today was when I recieved my Brickmaster Magazine. There was a section hat made my jaw drop... a BOM building contest!   I have already designed a chracter prfofile. The sweet thing is that I think I might have a chance of winning!   The only bad thing is that I can't make an extremely custom MOC. I've realized that LEGO doesn't really like those entries.   Also for those Naruto fans who have seen Shippuu

The Hulk 2

Bruce Banner is a fugitive in South America, trying to cure the condition that turns him into the Hulk. He is being pursued by the United States Army, led by General "Thunderbolt" Ross and Emil Blonsky, who want to use his power. Blonsky himself repeats the accident that gave Banner his powers, but when he discovers he is unable to change back into human form, he blames Banner and seeks his revenge.   The preview I saw of this movie today is pure WIN! Much, much better looking than that last pi

The Blue Diamond

This is a recent article a dug up on my searches in the world of diamonds.     Identified as one of the unique gems in the world, a flawless blue diamond is now being honored as the most expensive gemstone in the world. The 6.04-carat diamond has been sold for $7.98 million at Sotheby’s auction in Hong Kong. To my non-surprise, the flawless blue diamond fetched $1.32 million per carat. The sale has beaten the record made 20-years-back by the ‘Hancock Red’ — a red diamond that generated $92

The Blog Returns

No, I have not left yet. I was just making a few adjustments to the blog, banner, avy, and creating some new MOCs that will be posted later. Also, most of my time has been consumed by finals and other tests of that sort. I must say that it feels good to be back though.   Expect alot of new things to come!

As well as Gadnuka   The new sets are more interesting than I thought.
