Been planning to send my MacBook in to get its battery replaced since I updated to Sierra. The suggested cycle count after which to consider replacing it is 1,000, and I'm over 2,000 now. (I have been using this laptop for five years, so I suppose this being the first maintenance performed on it is a good thing.) One of the things the Apple site suggests is backing up all your data before any repairs, in case of problems. So I bought a 1TB external hard drive off of Amazon. Perhaps it's a
Man it is GREAT being back with all my LEGO stuff. Everything's been at home all summer, and I haven't been. Except for this week because I needed to come stack firewood. And I've just been up in my room like crazy, just messing around to see what I can make. Already I fixed up Gavla, built the Makuta head, and now I'm trying to reconstruct my Daft Punk helmet's initial stage to see if I can actually try to finish it this time.
If you're playing Humans vs Zombies, make sure you go to the entire opening meeting or at least get all the info that they presented. Because if you don't you might miss something important like how the OZs are unmarked for the first hour, have all your planning overturned about twenty minutes into the game, and get stuck as a zombie for the rest of the week.
Hey in case you missed it before, I've got two shirt designs up on WLF's Fan Forge. Basically they're candidates to be made into shirts based on how well they're rated. They're both Miraculous-themed, because that's how inspiration works for me. The first one is based on Cat Noir's "Cataclysm" attack and is a pretty simple black and white design that I've chosen to display on a few shirt color options. The second is Ladybug's yo-yo and Cat Noir's staff just sort of sitting around, a bit m
I'd ordered a controller from Amazon so I could play it, and that arrived today, so I kind of had to buy the game now. Was hoping it'd go back on sale but oh well. I still think the tagline should be "It's okay, you didn't need that half of your car anyway."
Was pretty much like any other day of the week.
I didn't even remember the significance of the date until I heard some jets fly over and my science teacher mentioned that she and another teacher had heard them earlier and sort of got scared for a second.
There were really only two other points in the day that were different.
The first was the announcement of the moment of silence.
The second was a sort of "lecture" (I can't think of the right word) by my U.S. History teacher about wh
I chose the name "Bfahome" in a desperate fit of non-creativity as I was signing up for the Kanoka Club on bionicle.com in 2004. Maybe I should've thought about it a bit more, because in the following 16 years it remained my primary handle on pretty much any site or service that anyone here would find relevant.
(It stands for "BIONICLE fan at home", loosely inspired by the "Adam@Home" comic strip I remembered seeing in the newspaper. I was told not to use the @ symbol because it tended to
I have been listening to Road to Jupiter constantly for the past couple of weeks. It's just such an amazing album. Some of my favorite songs are Atlas+Road to Jupiter (most of the songs segue into each other but this is the best) and As Stars Fall, but my favorite song hands-down is Lakes. I want it to be played at my everything. I greatly advise you to check out the whole album, maybe download it and listen to it in full seamlessly (on Bandcamp there's a delay between songs that sort of ru
