Just finished yet another MOC. I'll take pics of it later. For all those who are keeping track (if there is any) that brings the number of MOCs I'm bringing to Brickfair to 12.

I'm never going to enter that BBC at this rate.
EDIT: Topic
(I still haven't made a topic for Heterocrhomion. I might want to get on that)
Why is it that when I start making a MOC for a contest I end up deviating away from what I was originally building?
This needs to stop happening, or I'll never get around to entering one of them thar BBC thingies.
Why does it take so long for an order to go from Alberta to Michigan? I understand that the processing's prolly different than here in America, but I figure that if they just shipped it over the border at Montana (and customs honestly wouldn't take more than a day or two [and that's pushing it]) and then let the USPS take it from there it wouldn't take as long as it is. It would most likely take another 2-4 days to reach here, as it takes 3-5 days to ship from California to here. And then there'
So, if I can find some of these dudes in a nearby store, I'm totally picking them up.
They look so much better than Bionicle. And I could always use some new pieces (if the entry below this didn't give it away, I'll just go ahead and say it: I like getting new pieces. They tend to make me want to build stuff)
I know that I could prolly just do a search and compile ever bit of info that I find, but I figured it'd be easier for me to just ask right here.
I'm trying to figure out who I should expect to see there.
Dunno if you guys had seen any of the earlier entries about this, but I had recently acquired a Co-op job at Magna Seating and I was unsure what their vacation policy was etc. Well, I asked my soon-to-be boss if I could take off August 4-6 as I had been planning for the trip since February. I just got his reply and he said that they can "accomodate [my] planned trip request"
So, I'm totally going to DISNEYWORLD BRICKFAIR
If I don't pack up my stuff I'll end up taking them apart.
So, in the boxes, going bottom to top, are The Call of Cthulhu, Katsumoto, Sting, Tatterdemalion. Yet to be packed away completely are Wyvern, Hematoma Powersuit, Clockwork Strakk (after I re-attach it's feet). Not packed yet is at least one unfinished MOC and one just finished MOC. The unfinished one is going to go in the Big Chill box.
Speaking of the just finished MOC:
Not gonna post a topic for it cuz there's only one Bi
Just got a Co-op Job with Magna Seating. Going to start working on July 12th!
(though, this and Brickfair could be conflicts of interest. That is more than slightly disappointing. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to work around it)
(^Links to (considerably) bigger picture.)
Dude. I don't really care for the editing, and the lack of feet takes some getting used to, but please, PLEASE, keep building stuff like this.
Seriously.
(PS: Oh, and try to lay off of the background editing. Maybe you should change your photo setup? Right now the background is ridiculously white)
I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this before, but some of the best building advice I've ever received came from the man, the myth, the legend, Cajun:
I got this advice after I had so boldly asked him to review this:
(shown, really bad BBC entry)
I think that ended up paying off pretty well.
So really, If any of you up and coming awesome builder dudes want a review or something, drop me a link and point out what I should focus on.
Or not I guess.
But that part's up to you.
Que Earth wind and Fire
Anyways, I kinda find it funny that this:
(Shown, guitar playing Toa)
Was, at one point in time, one of my best creations.
How times have changed.
Back to it's older name.
ALSO
I builded a MOC. Which is odd because before I was blocked or something and couldn't.
But I did.
And I should be postin' it tomorrow.
