So as some of you might have noticed I haven't been very active lately (like, the whole year). There's been a lot going on lately and I've been under a lot of stress, but hopefully I'll have more time for BZP over the summer.
Yeah, I've said this before, but I think this time it's for real.
In other news, we had the end-of-year banquet a few days ago. Just for the kids in the enriched programs. 'Twas awesome. The awards ceremony was the day after, and I got both the Band 9 and AutoTech 9
So I know I just posted an entry like this but I thought I might as well rant about it again anyways.
Yeah, I predict I'll be up till 2:30. This time for science.
Seeya.
Oh and also on a completely different note there are three concerts coming up that I would absolutely love to go see. They are: Mark Knoffler (from Dire Straits) in April, The Eagles in May, and Jethro Tull in June. Tull is performing in Toronto but eh minor technicality. If I had to choose one it would be Tull, but The
24 hours ago I was... What was I doing? Packing up my MOCs or something.
Now I'm home sick. Timing couldn't have been better. I think it must have been Rene (EW), he was sitting next to me at dinner.
Oh, man. BrickCon was so awesome. Especially the people. I don't think I even have to name you guys, you know who you are.
I'll get a proper entry up later today or tomorrow, but for now I should really get back to building that UCS Imperial Shuttle.
Oh, and congrats once again to Ja
Slightly freaking out right now because I leave for BrickFair in two days and I can't find my passport. I think it might be in a different province. Whoops. Cancel red alert. Passport has been located. -Letagi
So I go to all the trouble of moving my BZP images from Majhost to Brickshelf, and right after I finish telling Makaru that Brickshelf is usually pretty reliable, it decides to stop working. Brickshelf, I am disappointed. Now my blog is back to looking utterly ridiculous. In other news, go and join The Toa's Hideout. It's what all the cool kids are doing. There are cool things like custom member titles and blogs after 100 posts, and the membership is currently tiny. There's just one rule in
Some of our relatives from Germany are coming to Vancouver (they actually arrived two days ago). You know why I've been dreading this for a month?
Because I haven't spoken German for two years. Not since other relatives came two summers ago.
They're staying for two weeks. Then you know what's happening? More relatives are coming. Precisely one day after the first two leave.
Ugh.
Not that they're not nice people, it's just I can't speak German very well anymore.

I am quite addicted to his music.
I've had Moondance stuck in my head for the past three days.
Unfortunately he won't be back in Vancouver for a while since he was just here.

So it snowed a bit on Thursday night, then it stopped, then it snowed again last night, and then stopped. But it's supposed to go down to -6 tomorrow night, then -7 the following night, then -8 after that, then it starts climbing again. That's Celsius.
But in any case, I think we'll have a rather snowy winter. Unlike last year. I find it ironic that it doesn't snow at all during the Olympics, but the year before and after we get tons of the stuff.
In other news, I'll probably be participat
Item the First: We saw the German people off today. They stayed for two weeks. 'Twas interesting. And tomorrow come the next pair of relatives.
Item the Second: I haz a WIP. A System WIP. It's almost finished. Pics latr, not naoughw.
-
I'll be going away tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. for about a week. Expect a week's delay for any PM replies or Blog comment approvals.
I should also have those System WIP pics up in a few minutes.
Have a nice day.

For some reason I've really been enjoying spy/espionage/secret agent movies lately. Aside from the Bond, Bourne and Mission Impossible films, what are some other good ones? (MI 2 excluded from list of "good ones" because it was terrible.) -Letagi
I ordered some old Nuva/Krana polybags and Kanoka boxes a couple months ago, and they finally arrived this week!
Just for fun, here are some stats about the Kanohi Nuva polybags (though 20 is probably not a statistically representative sample, so this might be utterly meaningless). The masks were clearly not distributed evenly throughout the polybags; some were rarer than others. Focusing only on shape, the Miru was the most common, with 12 appearing out of 20 polybags (40 masks
This time for socials. The last one was math.
It's actually a group project, and my group is comparing the Agricultural Revolution (18th and 19th centuries) to the Green Revolution (20th and 21st centuries).
So lucky me, I have to do all the research for the Green Revolution.
I am however more than half done, with two and a half pages in Word. And I'm freaking exhausted.
Well, guess I better get back to it now.
And have I mentioned I'm freaking exhausted?

I spent the morning conducting a theoretical physics thought experiment. An effect of general relativity is that the closer you are to a gravitational source (an object with mass), the slower time flows. Near a black hole, which has infinite density, this effect is enormous. In fact, the result of this effect is that, as you approach a singularity, as you look towards the black hole you see its entire history, and as you look away from the black hole you see the entire future of the universe
Takua95 is considering discontinuing the Pantone Collection - the most awesome blog awards ever, of which there are about 500 - so I suggested he pass them on to me if he's planning on discontinuing them.
There's a poll going on right now - whether or not he should let me continue them. The poll is here.
So vote for me, okay?
