I really want a pic of the cat beast from the first 10 minutes of the movie (not elsewhere), since it was so detailed and awesome, for my computer wallpaper...but no luck so far. (Yeah I was super excited when I saw that.)
Overall, the movie rocked. Action, characters, settings, plotness, awesome CGI and visual effects, and the different...things (various beasts).
But I also could not get enough, for 80 minutes really isn't that much, especially for the teenage/adult target audience. At

I just got back from the theater after watching Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.
I knew nothing about this until the trailer popped up online. When I got home from school I borrowed the first 5 graphic novels from my library and diligently awaited #6 to come out so I could buy it. (Which, btw, you can buy from me for cheap. PM me until Sunday night.) I can not say I was the biggest fan of the writing, but the story itself was fun. So I could not wait for the movie.

I saw Terminator Salvation today. Very awesome. Very good movie. Might be the best action movie of the summer, IMO. Plenty of stuff going on, but, unlike Transformers, there was plot and coolness all rolled into one (without whiney LeBouf) and not explosions every second (which I'm not saying is a bad thing...). (Though Star Trek might be the best action movie of the summer. Hmm...)

I got the idea for the claw a while ago, and tonight decided to build the other claw. Then I felt like defining how I wanted the rest of the arm, and felt I might as well put a Metru waist in there to join the two arms. That said, I already had a bunch of silver weapons scattered (in hopes of using something else instead of aero slicers for pincers...but alas no luck) and looked into legs. I'd say those turned out pretty nifty.

Work Camp (see entry below) was great! It was spiritual, enlightening, energetic, creative, studly (inside joke), rockin', comedic, tiring, etc, etc, more than just (and not limited to or focused on) "fun" and "working."
