-Sent to a stationary death march (aka Marching Band camp)
-Playing Fallout 3 (creepy and profanic but addicting)
-Entertaining my cousin who lives in St. Paul but visits every summer

For our school's marching band, we meet before school starts on the football field to practice for 6 hours a day. It makes me wonder how it ever caught on...

I haven't been on for a while (since last Tuesday, I believe) because every year our school's eighth grade class goes to Washington D.C. from Wednesday to Friday.
It had to be the longest three days of my life, when you share a small hotel room with your best friend, a hulking gorilla, and a lummox who snores like a bulldozer.

Today in Math, all the boys including myself decided to play a prank where we pretended it was English instead.

Needless to say, it made for one very confusing and very entertaining period.
I FINALLY got around to reading Journey's End, *applause*, and it occured to me the 40 million feet is pretty darn tall. I did the math, and if Mata Nui was inside his body and standing next to the Earth, it would take over 9.5 Earths stacked on top of one another to be as tall as the robot Mata Nui would be a little shorter than Earth, but not by much. (the reason being for the edit, I accidentally entered 400 million instead of 40 million into the calculator)

There was a car accident in my local area yesterday. In the care were two kids, one a junior and one a seventh-grader. The junior was killed on impact, and the seventh-grader was rushed to the hospital, completely braindead from the impact. During school today he crashed and passed. His organs are being donated.
I knew neither of them too well, but our school is closed tomorrow because everyone is so crushed.
