Spicks And Specks

Where is the sun That shone On my head The sun in my life It is dead It is dead   Where is the light That would play In my streets And where are the friends I could meet I could meet   Where are the girls I left far behind The spicks and the specks Of the girls on my mind   Where are the girls I left far behind The spicks and the specks Of the girls on my mind   Where is the girl Where is the girl I loved all along The girl that I loved She's gone She's gone   All of my

What I Learned This Weekend

When asked to drive a vehicle at 10 PM, in the dark, while it's raining, on roads I've never driven on, and in a vechicle that makes my mom's mini van look like a two door coupe I should just say no. According to Dgen's grandmother, I have "manners." I should probably learn to loosen up around my friend's parents Apparently my comic sans ms was really ugly so I'm cutting that out until I can find something more suitable I need to work on not calling people by their screen names when talking to t

Lucky Charms

As I was eating a bowl of lucky charms today I noticed that they have little shooting star marshmellows. I suppose you could say that they're a... *puts on sunglasses* Lucky Star.   [flash=200,120]http://www.swfcabin.com/swf-files/1267927742.swf

Moral Quandrum

A trolley is running out of control down a track. In its path are 5 people who have been tied to the track by the mad philosopher. Fortunately, you can flip a switch, which will lead the trolley down a different track to safety. Unfortunately, there is a single person tied to that track. Should you flip the switch?   Assume for the sake of the exercise that there is no third option. You either flip the switch or you don't.

Protip

Obeying the staff and following the rules tends to keep your proto safe and your experience on BZP much more enjoyable. Furthermore irritating them is just bad form and you deserve whatever punishment you get.   Just saying.   </3

Portal

So apparently Portal just got a recent update which includes new achievements. That's not bad for a game that's a few years old. I suppose you could say that it's... *puts on sunglasses* still alive.   [flash=400,400]http://www.swfcabin.com/swf-files/1267927742.swf

Lightbox

I just created a light box. For those unaware of what a light box is, it's a white box that you shine a light into. You place something you want to photograph into the box and the white walls will reflect light onto the object.   But you don't care about technical stuff do you? Here's the bottom line. A light box takes photos that look like this:     And turns them into this:     And FYI, those are thumbnails so you can click on them for a larger view.   ~<3

Russia

When NASA first started sending up Astronauts, they quickly discovered that ball-point pens would no work in zero gravity. To combat this problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion developing a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside down, on almost any surface (including glass) and items ranging from below freezing to over 300 C. The Russians used a pencil.   ~<3
