A select few of you may remember this. I don't think I ever posted it here, so I do so now:
(Yes, this is absolutely ancient, and yes, I am aware my drawing is horrible. Just enjoy the now.)
EDIT: THIS NEEDS A DRAMATIC READING MADE OF IT.
EDIT TWO: I FORGOT THE SPONTANEOUSLY IMPLODING WOMBAT; I AM A HORRIBLE PERSON.
Right, so these two contests we have going? The BBC and the Comedies ones? They don't have too many entries right now. They need more entries. It's not that hard. Can't think of anything for the BBCC? Wikipedia is your friend. Can't think of anything for the Comedy Contest? Well, come on...it's Comedies. Have Bohrok with the powers of pie, cheese, and fourth-wall-breaking face off in an epic death match or something. It's really not that hard. Just enter. Provide some competition.
Please?
AKA what I've been doing since 11 this morning.* Somebody should make a version of Tetris with triominoes, too.

I do, of course, mean gay in the original sense of being happy, joyful, or lively, not in the more modern, homosexual sort of sense.
April Fools'!
I mean, really. Just ask Paige. My girlfriend.
Well, it's been a long time coming, and some of you may have suspected it from your interactions with me, but I'm getting a little tired of answering all the questions and being the target of so many insinuations and, all things considered, I think the time has come for me to be completely open. To that end, I would like to officially announce that I am a gay American and proud of it. To my fellow gay people, don't be afraid of who you are. I was for a long time, and it caused me no end of pessi
Due to a chain of events beginning with the All Your Base meme, I have now downloaded a Genesis ROM emulator and a bunch of games to go with it. If I'm not back this time tomorrow, carry on. B)
Why yes, I am on a teensy bit of a Neil Gaiman kick right now. I really ought to be finishing this scholarship essay that is due tomorrow later today, but here I am. I did manage to finish my main entry for the annual FOSDOAP, so huzzah for getting something done! Actually, it seems like I'm doing everything except this essay. My Bionicle Rhapsody is almost exactly 2/3 complete!
How are you all this fine evening?
I had every intention of photographing your Rahkshi today, but circumstances conspired against me in a most conspiratorial fashion. To wit: I spent much of the morning trying to get some good honest work done on scholarship applications, with the afternoon devoted to (among other things) folding laundry, looking at Sandman fanart and photographing Rahkshi, but then my mom gets this call saying she was supposed to help at the homeschool band's nursery today, but she forgot and now she has somebod

3. GEEK CATCHPHRASE. With categories like comic books and novel-books and sci-fi television and so forth. On second thought, maybe there should be entirely separate ones for each. Regardless, I need to look into this.
4. More Firefly and Sandman stuff. This includes good cosplay of the af
New subtitle, sig, and av. I've been rewatching Firefly and researching some astronomy stuff, which together account for all of that plus the fact that I decided to wear my cunning hat today despite the rather nice temperatures of late.
I am becoming increasingly bored with and disillusioned by the Internet, which I take as a good thing. Maybe now I can actually do my homework in a timely fashion!
Speaking of schooling, I've decided on Benedictine College in Kansas as my institution of cho

Sort of saving my 500th entry for that, so yeah. Life has been interesting lately. I may or may not have watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show last night. It was an experience, I tell you what. My brain is pretty much fried. Not necessarily as a result of the aforementioned experience, but then again, maybe so.
Hooray for most things!
The enemy's gate is down.
And no, this is not unnecessarily cryptic. You know why? Because not only have I actually indicated that it is meant to be a cryptic reference, but if you don't recognise that line then IT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY AND WILL REMAIN SO UNTIL YOU READ THOSE BOOKS.
And then I get punched by Batman. One's sci-fi, the other's not. Oh yeah.
So! Life! It is fairly busy! Not least of which because I have been and will be flying out to visit and compete for full-ride schol
The following is an unretouched excerpt from my NaNoWriMo piece that I have good reason to believe was written at least partly in my sleep. The other part was in a state of extreme fatigue resulting in slightly increased coherence, and the very first part was a quote taken from an IM convo that I inexplicably wanted to get into the story somehow but ended up sticking in at a random place to make my word count quota. Somebody mentioned dream sequences as a method of padding one's story, so I made
