... That's what I'm going to do tonight.
I'm going to take a ride with my class [and a paralel class too] around the city. Going to be pretty epic.
Plus, we get the day off tomorrow. Can't say we're losing out on this in any way.
I've been hearing a lot of negative comments about its plot recently.
But really, was it bad? I personally feel that it may be pretty simple and not very complex, and the idea is pretty
much a classic. But does that make it bad?
And even if it would be that bad, the visuals and the design would make up for that twenty times over.
You can't deny that everything that you can see in that movie is, to put it simply, awesomesauce.
But really, I think we're just being too picky. And there is
I'm on the fence about that set really, it has some pretty cool pieces and minifigs, but at the moment there's only one thing that would make me actually buy it. so I'm wondering, does anyone know if the set comes with a spare for the tile on Gorzan's chest plate? you know, this one: because if it does, I may very well have to buy it
Man this thing was so rushed
It's for the HF building contest, if you didn't figure that out already.
Oh well, the very fact that I made it is somewhat an accomplishment!
This motif will most likely only make sense if you've read Homestuck. I might just go ahead and print this, as long as you guys don't think it looks absolutely terrible.
Let's talk science. ^Gallery 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 This is something I've been working on to try the Portal 2 Authoring Tools out. I haven't learned how to create the more complex test elements yet, but as soon as I do, emancipation grills, gel and buttons will be added to this map. I'm still working on this, so any suggestions would be very welcome.
That's right, folks - I've been participating in The Three Virtues' third MOCist interview!
So do go listen to that in the supplied topic link, and preferrably to some of their other episodes too, because they're an awesome bunch right there.
And also big thanks to Tom and his editing skills for making me sound nearly normal instead of like a stuttering freak.
I have to get to school at half past 5 PM... (evening, I'm not really familiar with the american time measure) We're supposed to show up some kind of project to our parents. I thought that they stopped doing that in, like, 4:th grade?
Okay so I've mentioned earlier that I've gotten into music making. In Garageband, more specifically. The program has its limitations but I've found that I can go pretty far with it none the less. I've been working on this song for the past few days, and it's a theme for an original character who's basically this disturbing skeletal fleshmonster dude. I should have some artwork of him eventually. (He's not that horrifying.) So yes, without further ado, please do have a listen to Emissary of Tai
Fun stuff.
It is the best if you're doing it really deep into the forest when the weather is damp.
We did it in pouring rain earlier today, and even though the piece of paper you're supposed to stamp
slowly turned into an unrecognisable mass, it was a great time.
I never imagined switching socks could feel that amazing.
Anyone else liking orienteering?
I am now holding Meltdown's GLORIOUS box in my hand. B)
They didn't have Stormer though... That was the only Hero they didn't have. RAEG
Too bad because I wanted good ol' Melty to have a playmate
I'll go hunting for him on Sunday though.
I'll have pictures of Meltdown up later today, so stay tuned.
Consider me back.
Anyway, I've picked up some sets these past days:
-Spidermonkey
-Corroder
-Natalie Breez
A couple of notes:
Spidermonkey is meh. Fun to mess around with, not much beyond that.
Corroder is an excellent set. He's grown massively on me since I bought him, and
it's a set I strongly recommend. He does look better after some minor modifications, though.
Natalie Breez is good as well, she has one of the best coordinated colour schemes of the Heroes, IMO.
The weap
Tomorrow I'm getting my tooth removed, even though I thought that it was about a month left until
that would happen. Oh well, I can't say I'm too worried. Still, wish me luck, guys.
