So I was able to chain for another shiny yesterday, this time a Flabébé (click for pic) which I named Flora. I know the pic is of a Floette but it's a lot easier to tell that Floette is shiny. That's in addition to my shiny Lucario (click again), Yellowjacket. Two shiny Pokemon! I am content. Thinking about chaining for a Skiddo next? Suggestions are welcome. So I turned/am turning 18 today. A bit of a weird feeling. My childhood is officially over. Made me think about things a little more than I'm comfortable with. On the other hand, I bought a rad as heck cardigan, I'm spending the day in Chicago, and I'm on my way to see my brother for the first time in a while. So for now, things are good, I think. So I stumbled upon XCOM: Enemy Unknown while mindlessly browsing the Steam Store. Once I looked at it, I was A. bewildered that I had never seen this before and assumed that this rock I had been living under was in fact hindering my knowledge of the outside world and B. instantly hooked. So I've been slowly touching up a few of the MOCs that have been collecting dust on my shelf, and there's been a problem with one that I can't seem to fix. PICTURE I've been stuck on how to armor the forearm in a way that's not too obtrusive but still covers it. Most ways that I've tried either stick out too much or aren't white (which is the color scheme of the MOC in question). So I'm looking for suggestions. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
So recently I've tried my hand at modeling in Blender. I'm working on creating a hat for Team Fortress 2 to submit through the Steam Workshop. Mainly because I want something sparkly to wear on my Engineer's head. And also because cash money. I've finished the model and I'm working on figuring out the best way to UV unwrap this thing. if I succeed, maybe, just maybe the engineer will finally have the trilby he deserves but probably not
So this is the week of everything. Which sounds like every week in high school but. Tomorrow we test our physics project: a windmill that, when powered by a fan, has to lift a 100 gram weight one meter off of the ground. The catch: we're graded by our time; the person whose windmill lifts the weight in the shortest amount of time gets a 100%, and the rest of the grades are based off of that.
