Very funny topic closing posts! SPIRIT and Turakki #1 Lavasurfer (mainly) used to do them all the time, and I always looked forward to seeing their closing posts. Sadly, both of them seem to have mostly disappeared, and AFAIK no-one as of yet (except Nuhrii the Metruan just recently, prompting me to make this entry) has made any sort of attempt to make a funny topic-closer. So, there was another Pokémon tournament in the city yesterday! The tournament used the same rules as the past 3 Nintendo-run tournaments did, so I didn't bother to build a new team. Besides, my last team did well, and there's another tournament next week that uses different rules. My first round was put on the big screen, this time not by design but by coincidence! I regret posting this after the "befriend a disabled Canadian" entry, which disrespectfully got no replies... During the downtime I downloaded DOSBox onto my Mac to try and get it to play DOS games. I only just found out about the revelations for the new Winged Pikmin in Pikmin 3, announced in last night's Nintendo Direct. I LOVE THEM! The Pokémon Trading Card Game State Championships will be coming to Victoria this Sunday, and I'll be going! The bad news is that my nan's birthday is coming on exactly the same day! I believe suspending school students should be abolished and replaced with something more appropriate. People may think suspensions protect the victims of bullies, but they actually put them in more danger! The bullies who get suspended HATE school. They don't want to be there. Therefore, they WANT to be suspended. They see it as a REWARD. And what better a way to get that 'reward' than to torture an innocent fellow student? Long story short, suspensions encourage bullying.
If you really like something, you shouldn't let age or your social life stop you from enjoying it. I personally don't believe in growing out of things. Such a concept is only an excuse for trying to fit in with the social norm. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a teddy bear to cuddle with!

I'm sure Lego would've learned from their mistakes of making brittle pieces and using the Inika and Av-Matoran builds over and over.
