I did pretty much nothing today. Hopefully your day was more fun. Oh, and for those who don't celebrate Christmas, Merry all the winter holidays I'm too lazy to look up. This has been a random message from JiMing.
Yay! Embedding YouTube videos! It is happy day! To celebrate, how about some awesome songs from videogames? For our first entry, we're looking at songs from two fangames, Sonic: Before the Sequel, along with After the Sequel. Now, I have to say, the soundtracks from both songs are amazing. It's proffessional quality stuff, made by extremely talented people(one of which is working on Final Fantasy!) Both soundtracks have an amazing variety of songs, and I will list some of my favorites below.
I know that not many people on this site will care whatsoever, but the fact that this exists is awesome for me. Surprisingly, the voice acting is pretty good. The translation obviously is not exact, but overall, it stays quite true to the original. And for an added bonus, they pronounce the Chinese names correctly! I always get ticked off when Chinese words aren't pronounced correctly in media. (It's Yah-ng She-ow Loh-ng, Lee-eh Ruh-n, and Soon Woo-koh-ng people!) Though it is a bit awkward with
My sister returned from college for the break. Woo-hoo! And I got four free game apps thanks to a Christmas Eve deal from Amazon, which would be Sonic 2, Terraria, RPG: Soul Historica and Five Nights at Freddys (which I doubt I will play but if I feel like scarring myself for life, I know where to turn to). Overall, pretty good break so far! What about you gentlementlepeople? Are your breaks okay too?
It's up. After a delay to polish the animation, it's up, for the internet to see. I will put my thoughts in a spoiler tag, cause you should really go see the episode for yourself. Yeah, do that now!
The premier perks are going to run out pretty soon, so I guess I'll have to say goodbye to this blog. Thanks too the few people who posted here, and also to everybody who read this blog too. I'll be seeing you elsewhere on BZPower. (Unless I win GSR's premier membership giveaway. Fingers crossed!)
You're welcome, internet. (Btw I got the Rayquaza sprite from someone in The Spriter's Resource a while ago. I made this years ago, and had to dig it back up. =P)
After resting in the Pokemon Center, Jim decided to try out the 'Pokemon-Amie' feature. He took several Pokemon from his party out to play, feed them Pokepuffs, and bounce yarn off their heads. Though it was strange to pet a Beldum at first, Jim soon found himself growing ever closer to his team. Yet the fun had to end sometime, and the boy set out to Rustboro to challenge the Gym Leader, Roxanne. Everything was well and fine, until he reached Petalburg Woods. A strange man in a red outfit fro
And I'm okay with that. Even though I'm in high school. Not to rain on the parade of anyone who is in a relationship, that's fine and I'm happy for you. But I'm not exactly in a rush to get a relationship. Whether that's normal or not I don't know and I don't care.
Stunned, Jim went up to each Magma grunt in the line and questioned what they were doing. Responses ranged from telling him to stop cutting in line to mentioning how they were polite for paying the entrance fee..... And one who wondered if they should take the museum by force. While his unease was only heightened, Jim backed off and let the grunts go, as he didn't want to have to deal with fighting all of them at once right then and there. The trainer rushed off to the shipyard, where Captain
Prefacing this blog post, thanks to An/A Blade (or just Blade) for sending me her MH4U Demo code! I played it and I loved it, and that's why I'm here playing and gushing over this game. You're awesome! Anyways, like I said, I'm playing Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and loooooooooving it! So naturally I had to share the love with everyone else! I thought for a grand total of one minute and decided to do brief blurbs on what I think of all the monsters I've fought so far. I dunno if this could actua
Oh right, it's almost new year's. Well, how about an amazing Smash 4 video to help hammer that point in? Featuring one Jayroach3 and his incredibly godlike Shulk! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__zcO1sDjdE As the video states, pure optimization indeed. Even more impressive, some of these clips actually feature true combos. As in, you can't airdodge or DI away from them, and they are guaranteed to land. This guy really knows his stuff, and it made for an INCREDIBLE video that I am still watc
You know how Voltex, Blade, Ehks, and me all have avatars from Bravely Default? Well, turns out there may be room for a possible fifth member! If you're interested, give us a shout, preferably in the blog post. P.S. Edea is adorable. JUST LOOK AT HER.
This fanmade opening was so good that the author of the manga it was based off of requested to upload it to Youtube. That is the work of an amazing fan. If only we had more dedicated fans like this, I'd love to see a Mega Man Classic anime. (Granted, it's a reskin of the Namco x Capcom opening, but still....)
So I've been playing even more of the demo, and after figuring out the Brave and Default mechanics, actually changing the classes around for my characters, and grinding, I can say that I've enjoyed my time with this game. Later on, I might actually buy the game, though if I transfer my progress, the whole beginning of the game would probably be easy as heck. =P But I'm still surprised at how much control they give you over the game, allowing newer players to the JRPG genre to ease their way into
Are you a Kid Icarus fan? Are you an RPG fan? Are you all of the above? Well then check out Kid Icarus: Unanswered Prayers, the ultimate RPG! Are you a human or a spirit? Will you ally with the Human Army or the Underworld? Or will you even aid Pyrrhon and Phosphora as they try to uncover the mystery of what happened to the gods? YOU get to choose! Have fun! (I'm advertising this because it has a severe lack of players. Well don't just stand there, check it out!)
Eh, I was playing Tri-Force Heroes and Smash 4 with buds all day last night, sue me. =P But I did buck the trend of only going as myself during Halloween, and took a very minimal amount of time to come up with a costume! Are you ready? You sure? Okay then. Here we go. ... beautiful, isn't it?
I am not surprised at all by this revelation, but it's still the best news I've heard about the game yet. I choose to take it as a testament that maybe classic mechanics, plot, characters, etc. aren't bad. Experimentation is great and all, but the general opinion I can see of the Final Fantasy franchise as a whole now isn't very positive. =P Hopefully the game's good sales leads to the localization of Bravely Second worldwide, and maybe a new franchise that can get up there with the JRPG kings t
