People who come into restaurants in big groups literally minutes before closing are some of the most irritating type of people, along with big rushes of people all ordering the same things and then complaining about a long wait when they caused it by not noticing the massive crowd of people already waiting for their stuff. But hey on the bright side the kitchen staff is always great fun to be around considering pretty much anything goes conversation wise ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Opening day was monday and I live in a college town RIP us, thankfully I simply had to work the closing shift from 7 pm to 2 am, although thanks to a certain "wonderful manager" I then had to work today from 9 am to 7 pm. I have just awoken from a minor food coma since I had pretty much nothing to eat since breakfast.
Sucked it up and bought Overwatch now, and finally got to play some since I got off work around 2 hours ago, good fun I must say. Zenyatta is super fun, Junkrat was easy to learn considering my demoman skill in tf2, Mcree is taking some time to learn, dunno what else I'll try next. On the sidenote any of you who own it or plan to own it on pc should totally add me on the BN thingy: ToaD#11813
2016 was a good year, got a job which I've kept for a year without killing anyone, made cash $$$$$, built my gaming pc, read nearly all of the jojo parts and enjoyed the airing of Diamond is unbreakable, and managed to get a girlfriend. Shoutouts to Ehksidian, Blade, Burnmad, Ddude, Unit, Luroka, RG, and Tex for being cool dudes and dudettes.
I can understand running out of one thing or rarely two, but a restaurant should never run out of SEVEN FREAKING THINGS. We had no ice cream, milk, whipped cream, Styrofoam cups, vanilla syrup, lettuce, and french fries. All of this gone on quite possibly the busiest Monday I've ever seen, and of course management orders hardly enough to last even one day, honestly I miss the training at the location an hour away from where I live, at least THEY had stuff.
30 hours into Xenoblade X; Visuals: Still drop dead gorgeous with some of the later areas I could just stay in for hours, if it weren't for the monsters like 40 levels higher than me wanting to rip my face off. Combat: I've got pretty much everything known now and have since the 9 hour mark, honestly this combat feels much faster than Xenoblade chronicles and IMO much better. Skells: Finally got one and have been playing with it for hours as my inner child is going nuts about it,
So I just went and finally got the road test doen and got my drivers license, honestly it was much easier than the written part. Now I can drive around and go party, but I won't since I'm super antisocial in public and my computer is here at home. Here's what I've been driving, works well excluding no AC or radio, but honestly it was free so I can't complain
And by that I mean I bought Xenoblade X the other day and have been playing it nonstop since 10 am this morning, so far things I can say about it. Visuals: Good LORD this game is gorgeous and I haven't even left the first part of the planet yet, enemy design is pretty sweet the giant dinosaur type enemies being my favorite even though they are around 50 levels higher than me so I don't really care to hang around them for too long. Human models are very anime and while most work Lin's face
Look upon the craftsmanship that is the Skell Unit Voltex, kind average really newest and best in our line of Skells. It will be boldly used to fight the Telethia of Demise where it will hopefully not be destroyed within seconds of doing so, no promises though.
I really enjoy tacos especially soft tacos, tonight I took on a mother load of a taco and devoured it all. ToaD: Pictures soon to follow ToaD: We needed a platter to fit the tortilla Ehksidian: I must see this terror HERE IT IS FOLKS It was delicious.
When stuff really starts getting to you and you can't even fall asleep until nearly 4 am, I'm such a mess lately and anything I try to do about it makes me worry more about it all
Over the past month I've added a couple new additions to my collection of random figurines; First of all we have the Stand King Crimson from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 5 Just a couple of poses It makes more sense with context for this pose Came with a couple hands and a different faced head overall it's a rad figure and pretty well made. Next we have Scervo from Skyward sword. Got it pretty cheap at gamestop a couple weeks back, quite the nice purchase I must say. That
Another Skell unit modeled after someone's request, this time being Unit. Vladimir offers an amazing defense as well as melee attack, with the most powerful attack on it being a scythe made of energy, very useful to have helping out with the big nasties that I sometimes don't even try to fight. Plus it looks pretty cool, not my favorite design but definitely up there.
The stand of Polnareff; Silver Chariot. A lighting fast stand that uses its sword for fast and precise strikes. Current Pose And the various others I took All in all a pretty nice figure, good way to start out the collection as it was about $44. Condition is quite nice along with the detail save for a few spots on the legs, but its really not an issue. The addition of Anubis both broken and in one piece is pretty cool. Color is based off the OVA rather than the recent an
My thoughts on MGRR; RULES OF NATURE AND THEY RUN WHEN THE SUN COMES UP WITH THEIR LIVES ON THE LINE ALIIIIIIIIIVEE FOR A WHI-I-I-ILE NO CHOICE GOTTA FOLLOW THE LAWS OF THE WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILD ALIIIIIIIIIVEE WITH THEIR LIVES ON THE LINE NO CHOICE OUUUUT HERE ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE I'm in love.
Felt like showing off collection stuff to friends and thought I'd share it here. Ignore how messy it might look, and ignore picture quality on a few I'm no camera junkie. Overall it's a nice room and could definitely be improved with looooots more shelves and space.
Going to Niagara Falls this week, I ain't ever been there so I look forward to it. Thankfully I don't need to drive any of the way there so I can just binge read Steel Ball Run and mass watch the Battletoads race during the 9 hour trip.
Got back into Xenoblade X to get a ton of endgame stuff done, currently working on a blossom dance build so I can solo anything and try and relearn some stuff. In the past two days I went from around 120 hours to 160, and managed to get the Ares 90 Skell to help with grinding for stuff to build the dream level 60 Skell I wish to use forever. Still have a very little understanding of how overdrive works but whatever I'll figure it out soon enough.
