Actually looks worse than in the magazine pic, because said pic hid a lot of the color problems.
Seriously, who thought that many colors was a good idea? Especially when they're used with no sense of layered and/or/blocking.
Also gaps. And more gaps. And then a couple of gaping holes, just for a misplaced sense of completeness.

Probably just the ambient temperature, which is going to turn me into a puddle before the day's end, but I like how it happened just as I was reading that.
I'm extremely glad that I'm losing interest in Bionicle(and MOCing, sort of), for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, I've found something that I can actually make money off of(because there's no way I'd ever end up a set designer).
Secondly, the staff here is remarkably uptight, compared to many many other forums.

Bluh, Copper Huna thing isn't working, and anything at the scale I'm working on takes weeks to get right, and I only have one. So I may end up not entering.
Also, Subdermis is taking up more time than I'd thought it would, so yeah.

Is it just me, or is Mata Nui extremely dissapointing? You'd think they could design something better for one of the most important aspects of Bionicle.

So I was trying to figure out a way to run a contest that wasn't popularity-biased, and this popped into my head.
EDIT: Entry period extended in light of me remembering how long these things take to build.
The premise is simple, build one(or more) MOCs in a style approximating my own.

I actually had something interesting(maybe) to say, but then I thought up the entry title and decided that it'd get more focus than the entry so I'm going to post the contents of the entry later.
