Actually looks worse than in the magazine pic, because said pic hid a lot of the color problems.
Seriously, who thought that many colors was a good idea? Especially when they're used with no sense of layered and/or/blocking.
Also gaps. And more gaps. And then a couple of gaping holes, just for a misplaced sense of completeness.
I've heard a great many ridiculous things, and said many of them, but this takes the cake. I wish I still had that calendar, because this quote needs to be on it.
what the catfish how does that I don't even
It sounds wierd, but not as wierd as it did IRL.
There was going to be a point to this entry, I swear.
Oh right.
Figured out how to get Sketchup models into Halo.
Also mountains of Zits and Get Fuzzy are on the couch. =]
Probably just the ambient temperature, which is going to turn me into a puddle before the day's end, but I like how it happened just as I was reading that.
I'm extremely glad that I'm losing interest in Bionicle(and MOCing, sort of), for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, I've found something that I can actually make money off of(because there's no way I'd ever end up a set designer).
Secondly, the staff here is remarkably uptight, compared to many many other forums.
In before lock.
Bluh, Copper Huna thing isn't working, and anything at the scale I'm working on takes weeks to get right, and I only have one. So I may end up not entering.
Also, Subdermis is taking up more time than I'd thought it would, so yeah.
Oh wait nobody here has the slightest inkling about Subdermis.
Bluh I should of the whole thing rather than just the scenery piece.
But since it's 12:38 and I'm in a horrible mood, you're going to have to do the work if you want to know what about. There's one hint in this entry, and another if you check one of the recent lists in my profile.
Is it just me, or is Mata Nui extremely dissapointing? You'd think they could design something better for one of the most important aspects of Bionicle.
On an unrelated note, I've been reading too much *webcomic name censored*, as you may or may not have noticed from the title.
kk, listing in reverse order.
Fourth, Walker. Really wish I could say something good about this in regards to it fitting the theme, but I really can't. It's not about the shape, or the weapon placement, as will be explained shortly. And besides, material definition failure.
Third, Disembodied Head. Yes, I know, I was saying it'd auto-win. But it really needs to not just be a head. =[
AND NOW THE RESULT

DEADLINE IS TOMORROW AT 6:00 PM PACIFIC TIME
So I was trying to figure out a way to run a contest that wasn't popularity-biased, and this popped into my head.
EDIT: Entry period extended in light of me remembering how long these things take to build.
The premise is simple, build one(or more) MOCs in a style approximating my own.
At the end of the entry period, I'll choose the winning MOC(s) based on how much they look like something I'd build. Keep in mind that the examples abo
I actually had something interesting(maybe) to say, but then I thought up the entry title and decided that it'd get more focus than the entry so I'm going to post the contents of the entry later.
Also my biological clock is not used to summer yet, I keep thinking it's about three hours earlier than it actually is because it shouldn't be light out this late gawshdarnit.
Somehow the UT3 demo works on my computer on maxed out settings how does that I don't even.
Anyways enough rambling I n
Can we go back to popularity voting now?
Because at least a number of the popular people(no, not you, I can make a list if you want) are actually good MOCers.
So I was browsing this forum that's basically an insane asylum(I'd give you a link but rules and SAN loss) and I have come to a conclusion. There is no such thing as a good comedy. No. Such. Thing. Also the word "pie" is overused, but everyone knows that already.
