The test was completely biased too. Who needs to know famous entomologists for an event in which you identify and cover basic knowledge on insects? Entomologists are people, not insects!

Yep, that's right. I'm angry. Why, you ask? Well, it has to do with my most recently released comic, Comic 99.
See, last Saturday was the first Science Olympiad Invitational competition for 2007. I was all ready to take on the Entomology (insects) test and take home the gold. My partner and I did, what we thought was, very well. We didn't know a few questions, but we had confidence in most of them. We had to have placed in the top 6th — we placed 15th!
I was in shock, awe, and anger
I got back from a concert a couple hours ago, this time our "winter" concert. Yes, we just had a Christmas concert, but we played completely new songs. Our Jazz band, Symphonic band, and Wind Ensemble played at the concert, and it wasn't quite as bad as I thought it would be. I had a numerous amount of solos, and people told me I played them pretty well. ^^;
Also, new comic up, based on the premier of 24, the most amazing TV show ever! ^^

Okay, I just came out with a new comic and no one has seemed to notice, so I'm going to redirect people to my comics topic to check it out. It incorporates that new idea I said I had earlier. The new idea was HAND DRAWN COMICNESS!
My CGing skills haven't developed to the point that I could CG in two days and have it out, so for now the comic is just a sketch. I'll try to improve that aspect, though. Hope you all enjoy it!

Hey, guys. Just wanted to let you all know that I've made a new topic. Basically, I'm rewriting Inventor of Metru Nui and I've made a new topic of it which you can find here. I'd like feedback on it, since I'm trying to revamp the old story with whatever skills I've gained since writing the original.
In other news, tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and hopefully I'll not be lazy and deliver you a comic by then.

Yup, Hallow's Eve has come and gone. I had a blast, and once again dressed as Mario. Expect a comic this weekend about it or something (I hope...). Today we had a marching band concert. It felt really weird to play our music sitting down... Had I been standing up, I could've played so much better. I can't get a good posture in those dang metal chairs...

Yeah, senior year has hit me like a ton of bricks. BTW, never try getting hit by a ton of bricks. You tend to break body parts.
And I've noticed some of you *coughToMcough* have been thinking that my reason for lack of comic output is the new idea I have. Trust me, I haven't even started that yet. The real reason is lack of time and inspiration. You could call it artist's/writer's block, I guess.

It's been a while since something like this happened. I was shocked and amazed Friday night.
Our band got a standing ovation.
It was amazing how much better our dance and our spirit was compared to that of last week. The crowd got pumped, they cheered, and we danced. It was amazing. I haven't felt that pumped in a while.
It was the best show for our homecoming game.
Oh, and we won.

Our show owned. I greatly prefered the first game to the second, because I personally did better that game. But, both were excellent.

Well, I've been through one week of band camp. My lips are exhausted due to all the playing. Marching I don't really care about, that doesn't exhaust me. The playing is what gets me.

...I'm literally the loudest trumpet player in the band...and, no, that isn't ego talking, as much as it may sound that way... >>;;
Thus my lips were killing me. By midday Friday my lips had the shapes of my teeth engraved into the inside of them. Perhaps that clears all that up.

Anywho, I've been back from my trip for a week, I think. It was great. I saw a bunch of relatives and I ordered the Inika while there. I must say now, Hewkii rules.
I looked at Dr. B's review of him, and I must say I got different Zamors with Hewkii. I got 2 yellows and 2 orange-red mixes. Same with Nuparu, so I gave Hewkii the yellows, Nuparu the red/orange. They look a lot better. ^^;

I finally decided to take apart Keetongu and let my brother build Voporak...which means he only built his right leg and I had to build the rest. XP He's quite awesome. For a bulky combiner, he's built very sturdily and completely. In short: I likey. 8D
