Not sure if today is the last day we'll all have premier perks or if there's still a few more days left, but if it ends today, I still haven't taken any pictures of my MOCs.
What I plan to do is this: Use my MOCpages account as a "blog" for posting my MOCs. I mean, if all I really want to do is post my MOCs all in one easy to access area, MOCpages sounds like it'd do the job.

Just recently I found a Jeep Wrangler model on brickshelf that far surpasses any I've ever seen built. And what's really impressive is that it's not some honkin' huge model either. This thing is only eight studs wide!!! (Nine if you count the mirrors, which is the widest point.) After stooping to retrieve my fallen jaw, I decided that I had to figure out how that thing was built. By looking at the pictures provided, I built about 85% to 90% of the model in MLCAD. Here's what I have so far:

A lot of my recent MOCing uses hinges rather than the ball joint commonly used in Bionicle sets and MOCs. (Although I still use them, just not as much.) Today, I've decided to share a hinge idea with you.
Most of the pieces here can be swapped out for other pieces and still achieve about the same amount of articulation. The pieces that make this idea work are shown here:

Well, after a long snooze, Tehka and Rhokurra (my entries for BBC#32) are just about ready for the unveiling of their newly updated forms. The main reason that they're not ready just yet is because I have yet to develop a satisfying design for Rhokurra's lower legs. I'll probably end up incorporating those "thigh pistons" (as I've heard them called) into Rhokurra's legs to make them more stable as he's somewhat top-heavy at the moment. Not really MOC-related, but hey, who says a MOCist can't dabble in other things? Anyway, an old topic of mine was re-opened recently. It had some links to download animation programs like Microsoft GIF Animator and UnFREEz. I felt that the information in the topic was a bit out of date (after all, I posted it back in '03!), so I figured an update was in order. If anyone still remembers, I've been working on a MOC inspired by the FSS's design. It's really more squid-like, but it's still cool IMO. It's small enough for me to easilly create instructions for it, so if I do, they'll be MOCist's Corner exclusive.
