Crikey!
Bad news coming out of Austrailia today. "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin has sadly died at age 44. He was in the midst of filming a documentary off the Great Barrier Reef when he was killed in a freak stingray accident. Stingrays are naturally passive; and in that area of the world, deaths caused by stingrays are almost unheard of; but, when threatened, stingrays will lash out with a toxic, sometimes 10-inch barb on the tops of their tails. Steve was filming

Hey there, BZP. It's been a couple days since I last had an entry here. I've been ultra-busy with school going now. I just haven't found the time.
In retrospect on this past week, I believe that every single weekday was structured the same. I would always stay up beyond midnight every night for one reason or another. The next morning I would have a close call with being late for carpool because I would oversleep, not get out of bed, yadda yadda. I would struggle ev

It has rained ALL DAY. I had some unfinished homework today for my first class, so I went to school early to take care of that. Today was a bit of a mess, but everything worked out...
The journey home was horrible. I waited like 40 minutes at the train station in this arctic wind, and they lock the building in the summer! That's life for ya...much of the time.
On a happy note, the Official Languages Topic is up and running now . Man, Tolkien went nuts writing a

...Gotta do homework today. That should be a crime! English, Science, Greek -- it's all hitting me at lightning speed again. I'm not ready for another school year :annoyed2: .

Yesterday was my first day of school. And I can tell you, even in the "excitement" of starting a new school year , I didn't want to go back today. Got some new kids in my classes -- some cool, some not. And I still see a few old friends even if we don't get the fun of being stuck in some stuffy classroom together for 43 minutes a day. Some of my new teachers I could see right off the bat that they were all right, others are real pieces of work. Actually, some of my teac

Ugh. School starts TOMORROW. This is my last day of summer vacation. This is it.
Now, I live a ways from my school, so we're obliged to host a car pool in our neighborhood. Of course, I'm not so enthusiastic about it at all. So, I proudly present:

Well, we officially have a new member of the family.
You mean I'm finally gonna have a baby brother?
No...nothing quite like that...and I already have a little brother, thank you.
It's this cat. Now named Shadow. I'm sure I mentioned it a few entries ago. We pretty much confirmed it's ownerless when we teamed up with a neighbor to find it's old address. At first we traced a phone number through whatever serial number Shadow had on her collar. That line was

I'm just about caught up with BZP news, the OGD, GregF's topics, the usual stuff that I usually keep track of when I'm not away. I looked back at the S&T Suggestion Box, and guess what -- my Official Language Topic idea was approved. So yeah, that was cool.
Home life: My brother has spent some of his time today sanding the end of a bamboo pole into a sharp point . He's a wierd one sometimes. There's also this black cat that keeps visiting our back deck. It has

Whew! Just got back from my big trip out-of-state, from a week before last Thursday to just a couple of hours ago. All that time I was completely cut off from TV ( ), computers/internet access (double ), and anything related to BIONICLE in any way ( ). I've missed so much...

This is it. I'm leaving; I'm not going to be able to go anywhere near internet access until a week after tomorrow.
BIG NEWS: Just "conquered Makuta"!

It looks like I'm going to be leaving today. I won't be back until a week after Saturday (if not, one day before). This isn't good for me because I'll be gone on all of the days I'm supposed to buy my books for next year. What really maddens me is how lightly my parents are taking that  . They are doing nothing to plan my getting my books before school starts.

Got the Lava Chamber Gate set today . It's a pretty nice set, but I'm not going to comment more on it now -- it's like 11:40 here. :wakeup2:
I'm pretty sure I'm going to leave on a trip tomorrow for a week unless circumstances dictate otherwise. We'll see what happens.

I measured a fruit-by-the-foot today. 2' 10''. It's all a lie! There is no three feet of fruity goodness!
Got Toa Jaller today .

I'm working on a project of piecing together the 2001 story. It's not always easy . There's huge gaps, inconsistencies... it turns out that the comics and books don't tell a whole lot of the story.

Hehe...I saw Talledega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby today. It was funny. But it was stupid funny, like the Benchwarmers. "You're not on fire, Ricky Bobby!"
Oh, and I finally, finally got my Lego mag in the mail today. And it's the fourth of the next month! The comic strangely reminded me of BL#3

Forgot yesterday's entry. Oops.
The past few days have been a good break from school, homework, travel. It's been really nice. I'm finally getting to relax.
Yesterday my dad came back from Target with Toa Hewkii. Of course, I've been bugging him about getting the Toa Inika from S@H (why would I use my own money? I'm horrible ). So he decided to give me a little "preview," I guess . I posted a gallery.

Something rather curious happened today. It happened completely at random, out of nowhere. It was the middle of the day when I was just sitting in my room, and I heard this huge engine noise. Sure, I live on a busy street; and people drive by in noisy cars all the time. But this couldn't be ignored. It was incredible. So, I looked out my window. I could barely believe what I saw! Easily over a hundred motorcycles were driving down the street, revving their engines (stop si

At last! The end! No more summer school ! And nobody will have to hear me complain and moan about the whole thing anymore, which has taken up like...what...80% of my entries in this blog so far? Seriously, take a look.
