Thursday

Thursday, July 27, 2006 Just one more day, and summer school is done. That's awesome. I have to study for one more test tomorrow. The last test. Once I finish it, I'm officially free to go home and spend the next three-and-a-half weeks far away from schoolwork of any kind. I see GregF has returned from his duties at Comic-Con and is back on BZP once again. The OGD has some fresh new posts. BTW, what's red and smells like paint? ->Red paint. <-

Wednesday

Wednesday, July 26, 2006 I passed that book test today. But not like I would have if I had actually read the darn thing... (See yesterday's entry? I tried.) 84%. My report compensates it with a nice 100% though, so I have nothing to worry about. If it's an "A" I'm looking for in this class, it's probably an "A" I'll get . Well, in a couple days it'll all be over. And you won't hear me complaining about school anymore . My magazine and comic still haven't come. I'm sad . I call this situa

Tuesday, July 25, 2006 I am having the most rugged time reading this book. It's brutal. One of the most boring books I've ever had to read. And I'm on page 91/356. And I have to finish it by tomorrow. At this point, I'm actually forming a deep, personal hate towards the author  .

Monday

Monday, July 24, 2006 Had to write a paper last night, so I lost a bit of sleep. I think it turned out pretty well, though. I recharged my batteries about 3:00-6:30, so I'm doing okay and not feeling terrible. This summer school thing is getting really old now :annoyed2: . Last night I had to write a report. Now I have to read a book. A big book. Try 350 pages. And it's not even fiction. It's some guy chronicling his experience in Vietnam. And that doesn't make for a very exciting read. Even be

Back From Trip

Sunday, July 23, 2006 I have returned from a small voyage to a couple states away to pick up my brother from band camp. I just came back last night with my dad. My brother decided to stay in the area with my mom for a while to have some vacation fun because he's crazy. As for me, I have to write a three-page paper for summer school today. Yahoo. I also have to say that I got Axonn and Brutaka at last on Thursday. I had no idea Brutaka was so much taller than Axonn. And don't forget to consi

Thursday

Thursday, July 20, 2006 I had a day off from summer school today. I couldn't be a bum and sleep in because of a thunderstorm, though. Last day of tennis for me. So, everyone has a blog now. Good for them. But we premier members are kind of drowning in this sea of fresh new blogs.

Medieval Times

Wednesday, July 19, 2006 I went to Medieval Times tonight for an out-of-school project. It was pretty cool. I visited the torture chamber, which showed some creative ways to cause pain. They served us food as we watched actors joust with each other and fight each other according to set choreography. Also, apparently, a popular ale called "Pepsi" existed in the Middle Ages.

Tuesday, July 18, 2006 My status today: sleep-deprived, behind in homework, dehydrated, exhausted. Not a good combination. It's just one of those days...

Another Sudden Realization

The truth behind Benjamin Franklin's famous key-on-a-kite experiment: the electrical properties of lightning didn't matter as long as he became a Toa Inika.   I'm saying this now because we have some intense lightning up in the clouds. The silent kind, the kind that illuminates the whole sky and reveals awkward colors in the clouds. It's really eerie, like the beginning of War of the Worlds.

Insanely Hot Day

Monday, July 17, 2006 Today was ridiculously hot and humid, and so my two hours on the tennis courts was an inferno. I almost died. The only comfort I had out there was seeing the football campers running around and doing strenuous drills on the field in full padding/armor. Now that must have been torture. But I still suffered much more than I liked on that desert of concrete. My water heated up within a half-hour, my sides cramped while running...not pleasant.

Sunday

Sunday, July 16, 2006 It's a scorcher B) . Really hot and humid. 'Twas a good day today to sit around and do nothing, and so nothing I did. Honestly, I don't know what was so great about today that's worth sharing.

Saturday

Saturday, July 15, 2006 Nothing to do today. Just the way I like it. I got my Brickmaster set in the mail today. It's an X-Pod, the blue/white robot one. My little brother already bought that set, and that was months ago, so it's not exactly a brand new set. Not doing much. Maybe working on MOCs, reading the Da Vinci Code, TV, etc. Maybe I should get out of here and see if any friends share my boredom.

Another Friday

Friday, July 14, 2006 So, another Friday has arrived. I'm reading the Da Vinci Code right now - just something of note. School wasn't that bad - videos, breaks, all that good stuff. The new Bionicle Heroes screenshots are alright. It looks like the game is going to have a more Lego-ish theme; that is, rebuilding lego elements in the game as a way of progressing through the level. Similar to the Lego Star Wars game that they made. I only saw glimpses of the SW game once, but I can already see h

All Day!

Thursday, July 13, 2006 Man, the server was down ALL DAY! I actually read or did homework rather than drool in front of the computer. How could the server put me through that!? Oh, and by the way, no amount of bubble wrap is going to help me cope with total boredom. Day off from school. Tennis. Yet another relative coming over (uncle). Usual day.

Another Log Entry

Wednesday, July 12, 2006 Pretty easy day today. We got to watch videos in class, got about an hour and fifteen minutes worth of break time, and we got to see a magician for about forty-five minutes. Not so bad for a class day. When I got home, I did the exact same thing I did yesterday: sleep from ~1:30 until I have to wake up to go to tennis. In tennis we did some annoying warmups: suicides, karaoke walk (), making it to the other side of the court in five jumps or so. Needless to say, I'm not

Log Entry#?

Tuesday, July 11, 2006 Hey, guys. The S&T Contest polls are up! I got some votes...some feedback...falling behind in votes though. I happened to make my 666th (8o) post in that poll topic. I went to school today, like I always do. I was so darn tired in class. I got so bored that instead of taking notes, I started drawing exactly what I saw in front of me. The bell rang when I started looking down at the notebook I was drawing on and I had to change the drawing on the notebook I was drawin

Alone...

Sunday, July 9, 2006 My family is gone all day, driving my brother to a band camp a couple states away. I'm alone now. But it's not so bad when it's just me and the computer! It's getting close to that time when all of the Lego Magazines arrive in everybody's mailboxes. Unfortunately, I'm one of those sad people whose magazines don't come until weeks after people post the heck out of them on BZPower . I might have gotton my magazine really early once.

Joined The Wiki!

Saturday, July 8, 2006 Yep. I joined the BS01 Wiki today! I'll still be known as Planetperson around there. It's fun - changing stuff to the way I want . Ha ha ha! Seriously, though, don't worry. I'll be good. I already made some IMO-good and useful contributions.

Stupid Freshmen

Friday, July 7, 2006 "Stupid Freshmen" - that's my motto this year. I swear, I think they sometimes regress to the age of five at times. When I was waiting for the train after school today, they were yelling about nothing, harassing each other for no reason, piggy-back riding...pretty strange. I don't think I did that. Or did I?

So Tired!

Thursday, July 6, 2006 Pretty normal summer school day as they come and go, except that there was a bit of a food fight in the back of the bus today. Guess where I was sitting: in the back of the bus. Of course, the bus driver didn't do anything because he's either lazy or ignorant...or afraid. I didn't get the worst of it - I don't have enemies there. I only got something from Starbucks on my backpack. Some kid got a sandwich in his hair - and his backback. I went through the day extremely t

Had To Go To School Again

Wednesday, July 5, 2006 Had to go back to summer school class again. Ack. Everyone hates us because we get hour-long breaks while they have to stay in class and get the occasional fifteen-minute break. And we get days off. But it's still a drag going to school when I'm accustomed to lying at home, doin' nothin', maybe posting on BZP all day... My S&T contest entry is finally headed for the polls. Three judges have done the deed, so there's nothing stopping me now.

Fireworks Issue

Ugh, the fireworks in my neighborhood. The sound of explosions is cool at 8:00, or 9:00, but 10:30? Happens every year. The neighbors stock up on illegal fireworks and are firing them off until 11PM every night for the next three weeks!

Log Entry #...ah, Who Cares

Monday, July 3, 2006 My aunt's coming over today. Was it not just last week that my uncle paid us a visit ? I made a new topic here. Now that I look back on it after making it, I see it's pretty useless. Hey, July 4 is just a day away!
