Nooz

Thursday, June 18, 2009 So, I'm about to embark on my journey. But you know those hotels with wi-fi? I'll be waking up in one on Friday morning, so I guess the Feed's still on for this week. Next Friday, on the other hand, is still hopeless. Lol.

Just A Notice

Tuesday, June 16, 2009 Not that it really matters, but in case it does, tomorrow I will be heading for the hills, so to speak, and will not be back until the end of June. I will have no TV, no XBOX, shoddy cell reception, and no internet access during this time. So the Farshtey Feed is off for two weeks. I will continue it as soon as I get back (that's gonna be a huge entry, am I right?). So that's all there really is to say. Me, gone, June 17-28...ish. Thanks. Bye.

Farshtey Feed (p188-189*)

Friday, June 12, 2009 ATTENTION: There will be NO Farshtey Feed entry next Friday. The Feed should resume the next Friday. SPHERUS MAGNA • Greg: "Spherus Magna broke up into three pieces. Since the desert known as Bara Magna makes up the largest portion of this chunk, the residents of that chunk call the entire place Bara Magna. Outside of the mountains to the north, there really isn't a lot there besides the desert." • The GBs knew what was going to happen to the planet as a result of the

Mnolg Soundtrack!

Monday, June 8, 2009 It's here! It's finally here! My project MNOLG: The Unofficial Soundtrack is completed and available for download. If you liked the music from the first MNOLG, this should definitely be worth your while. For the first time, all the disjointed audio clips from the MNOLG flash files and various CD material have been assembled into a 21-track compilation for your listening enjoyment. Visit the topic here.

Friday, June 5, 2009 BARA MAGNA • Malum had a reason to try to kill Strakk in the arena. • Greg, on Vastus's paralyzing venom spear: "It's only an unfair advantage if he is allowed to use it in the arena, when his opponent has nothing to counter it. What weapons are allowed in a match is determined beforehand. So, for example, Vastus might be allowed to use the spear in a given match but not to trigger the venom." • In order to tame a Rock Steed a Bone Hunter must subdue it in single comba

Friday, May 29, 2009 BARA MAGNA • Greg: "The Agori are the native species of Bara Magna. They were not created by the Great Beings, like Matoran were, and they don't even know what a Great Spirit is. The robot pieces visible in the desert are from a Great Being project that never functioned." • Spherus Magna didn't shatter slowly; it shattered quickly. The Great Beings were the first ones to realize it might happen. • Greg: "Well, we know the planet Spherus Magna shattered into three piece

Friday, May 22, 2009 BARA MAGNA • The Great Beings once held a position of power on Spherus Magna, up to the Core War and during it. • Greg hints that it is possible that the Great Beings would not refer to each other as "Great Beings" or their giant robot as the "Great Spirit." • Prior to the Shattering, many Agori and Glatorian had been outside of Bara Magna. Most are not native to Bara Magna. • Greg, on the Vorox's anomalous tails: "Ah, but who is to say they aren't the same species as G

Friday, May 15, 2009 GLATORIAN • Greg: "Strakk's attitude is a lot closer to the typical Glatorian than, say, Gresh's is. Some Glatorian, like Vastus, are motivated by the need to make up for their past, some, like Tarix, by love of their village, but most in general are in it for the shelter, the food, the equipment -- those are things you can't do without in a desert, and at some point, you will be too old to make a living as a Glatorian, so you have to get it while you can." • Vastus's re

Thursday, May 14, 2009 Mata Nui. Skrall. Ackar. Bonehunter, although this is really Atakus's model. Hopefully the producers won't make this switch in the movie. Berix. Metus. Gresh. Vorox. Kiina. Tuma. The scarabax beetle Click witnesses the landing of the Ignika. A huge foot is seen in the distance. Bara Magna's two moons (one blue, one green) are seen in the night sky. A huge bolt of energy gathers. Some sort of ancient

Friday, May 8, 2009 BARA MAGNA • No one living on Bara Magna would refer to it as "planet Bara Magna," analogous to the fact that no one living in California would refer to it as "planet California" were it to break off into space. • Bone Hunters are physically stronger than Agori. • Greg, on the relationship between the Skrall and Glatorian species: "All part of overall the same species, in the same way humans and other animals are primates." • Thornax do not grow outside of the Bara Magn

Friday, May 1, 2009 BARA MAGNA • Bara Magna is viewable from the endless ocean planet with the use of a telescope. • Greg: "I think it is safe to say the MN telescope is not powerful enough to see out of the solar system…" meaning that Bara Magna and the endless ocean planet are in the same star system. • North of Bara Magna's desert are primarily mountains and valleys, and inhabitable terrain is concentrated to a small region. To the south, on the other hand, the desert stretches all the

Friday, April 24, 2009 BARA MAGNA • Greg believes the Vorox always had their stinger tails. • Malum did not kill the former pack leader of the Vorox. • Greg would say most if not all the known Agori were alive before the Shattering. • All of the known Glatorian were alive before the Shattering. Gresh is indeed a younger Glatorian, but he does remember the Shattering. He was simply too young to have fought in the war. • Greg: "Bone hunters generally don't use vehicles, because vehicles ma

BARA MAGNA • The implants used by the inhabitants of Bara Magna are so efficient that they can be passed on to new individuals without use of sophisiticated technology, which they lack. • Glatorian death is extremely rare -- Glatorian matches are not to the death, and killing an opponent in the arena is treated the same way as a boxer killing another one in a match. Injuries, of course, can and do happen all the time. • Hundre

Friday, April 3, 2009 Terminator: SCC is getting really intense; they built up a lot of plot this season that makes for great drama now. I'm proud of that show. BARA MAGNA • Mata Nui has a mask, which he does not know well how to use, since he has never worn a mask before. And while the mask's powers COULD be used to kill all the Skrall, Mata Nui would not do that anymore than a Toa would. Friday, March 27, 2009 BARA MAGNA • Greg: "I see Malum as very protective of the Vorox, especially the ones in his tribe. Let's face it, they took him in when his own people cast him out. As a result, he sees more "civilized values" in them than in Agori and Glatorian. Vorox don't lie; they kill only to protect themselves or to get things they need to survive; and they judge others based on something Malum respects, namely strength. So I would compare it to someone who has spent a lot of time

In the new comic, Strakk mentions that they were at the tournament last year, but I thought they left after that tournament, especially since Tarix won it (which he couldn't have done if there were Skrall in attendance)." Greg: "No, he doesn't. He says "just like they did last year," not "in last year's tournament." Think of it like this -- we have a tournament in January of 2008. You win. Binkmeister shows up
