Index

I can't believe you stumbled upon this entry.   This index is a list of terms that I intend to give information on. Essentially, it is a directory for what will eventually make up Category 472 -- the reference section of my blog. The names will be linked to the places they are described in once they have descriptions. Feel free to comment for suggestions.   UPDATE for Summer 2008: I'm still working on this project, silently. Red text denotes that I have completed an article. The write-ups ge

Farshtey Feed (p208-210)

Friday, December 26, 2008 BARA MAGNA • There are six arenas on Bara Magna, and Atero is the main one. • Iconox is ice, Tesara is jungle, and Tajun is water. • The disaster involved in the Vorox and Zesk's regression is dealt with in 2009-2010 story. • The disaster is also involved with the downgrade of technology on Bara Magna. • The Glatorian system did not exist prior to the disaster. • Skrall are generally disliked, of course. • Nothing happens if someone takes his helmet off. Friday, February 20, 2009 Does movie Mata Nui have a mouth? \/ GLATORIAN LEGENDS • Greg: "[The summer line is] being called legends because we had to call them "Glatorian something" to keep Glatorian in the name, and Legends tied in nicely with the name of the movie." • Mata Nui's new body will not be made of protodermis, since it is made of materials of Bara Magna. • The Ignika cannot share its thoughts or memories with Mata Nui. • A larger-scale version of the Mata Nui model will be r

Pohatu

Toa Pohatu was a Toa of Stone and one of the Toa Mata. He was gifted with the elemental power of stone; wore a Kanohi Kakama, the Great Mask of Speed; and had specialized feet that could be used for precision kicks. Pohatu and the other Toa Mata were a part of the legend of Mata Nui, a legend that the Turaga of Mata Nui often told to the Matoran during the millennium between the Great Cataclysm and the Toa Mata’s arrival. The legend itself was spawned by a mix of common Matoran legends, the past

Friday, June 19, 2009 SPHERUS MAGNA • The Great Beings ruled the planet of Spherus Magna as a whole as a group; they did not have an overall leader among themselves nor did they break up responsibilities by region. • The following occurred in this chronological order: the creation of the Element Lords, Sahmad's plague 103,000 years ago, the creation of the Mata Nui prototype. BARA MAGNA • Everyone except the Vorox can and does use vehicles. • The Glatorian probably received their mechanic

Friday, October 9, 2009 Tch, what happened this week? GENERAL • Element Lords will be illustrated in Legends of Bara Magna. • Kiina regards Gresh like a little brother. • Tuma and Metus used each other. Tuma was getting information and a go-between with the bone hunters, and Metus was getting a chance to survive the coming war. • The Agori of the united villages dragged the robotic head from Roxtus because the Rock Agori had fled the village at that point.

Friday, January 2, 2009 BARA MAGNA • The Sea of Liquid Sand is like quicksand. • Greg believes Atero is south of the Bone Hunter camp. • Greg: "Beware the sand bat." • The giant mechanical body parts scattered throughout Bara Magna relate to future story. • The rock Agori have always been with Tuma and the Skrall, and they are essentially "support staff" for the Skrall. This is a militaristic group, where the army comes first before anyone else. • There will be other Glatorian sets thi

Toa Mata

A specific group of Toa named the Toa Mata – Tahu, Toa of Fire; Pohatu, Toa of Stone; Onua, Toa of Earth; Lewa, Toa of Air; Kopaka, Toa of Ice; and Gali, Toa of Water – was simply known to the Matoran of Mata Nui as “the Toa.” Just like all Toa, they were gifted with amazing elemental powers and Great Kanohi masks. Their name referred to the Great Spirit Mata Nui, as it was their destiny alone to awaken him. Led by Toa Tahu, the Toa Mata were a part of the legend of Mata Nui, a legend that the T

Friday, June 5, 2009 BARA MAGNA • Malum had a reason to try to kill Strakk in the arena. • Greg, on Vastus's paralyzing venom spear: "It's only an unfair advantage if he is allowed to use it in the arena, when his opponent has nothing to counter it. What weapons are allowed in a match is determined beforehand. So, for example, Vastus might be allowed to use the spear in a given match but not to trigger the venom." • In order to tame a Rock Steed a Bone Hunter must subdue it in single comba

Friday, March 6, 2009 BARA MAGNA • SPIRIT: "When exactly did the Skrall move south? In the new comic, Strakk mentions that they were at the tournament last year, but I thought they left after that tournament, especially since Tarix won it (which he couldn't have done if there were Skrall in attendance)." Greg: "No, he doesn't. He says "just like they did last year," not "in last year's tournament." Think of it like this -- we have a tournament in January of 2008. You win. Binkmeister shows up

Friday, April 17, 2009 BARA MAGNA • Vastus is a little younger than Tarix, Kiina is quite a bit younger than Tarix, but older than Gresh. • The Book of Certavus is currently in Berix's possession. EMPIRE OF THE SKRALL • Greg, on the baterra's ability to vanish: "Works like this. You and a friend are walking through a forest. One of the trees is actually a shapeshifted baterra. It turns back into a baterra, attacks your friend. When you turn to see what's happening, it's a tree again, so i

Friday, February 27, 2009 BARA MAGNA • Greg, on whether Mata Nui is now more powerful than Toa Ignika: "I would say no, simply because Mata Nui does not have a handle on how to use the mask -- he's never had to use a mask before. Ignika, on the other hand, knew all its powers and how to use them." • The scarabax beetle is the stag beetle seen on the Bara Magna teaser on the November 08 comic. • Although the Great Beings did have something to with the Arena Magna's design, it was physically

Psfm Staple Launcher

Monday, October 2, 2006 "What could be better than small pieces of metal flying undetected across a classroom until they make an annoying snapping noise at the far wall?" Hey there, ! Today's entry is a very special entry. Right now, I am pleased to have a place to finally post the simple instructions of my one truly, incredibly ingenious invention: the Portable Staple Firing Mechanism, or PSFM for short. This is a staple-shooting device whose structure I came up with back in my late grade

Friday, July 3, 2009 The Feed is back. Also, read the new comic here. GLATORIAN • There are occasionally vehicle matches between a Glatorian and an Agori, since skill in the vehicle is all that matters. • Greg: "Glatorian generally do not escort caravans on a regular basis. They do it if the caravan happens to be going the same place they are. If Vastus has a match in Tajun and the caravan is going from Tesara to Iconox, he goes to the match, not with the caravan, because fighting in the
