I got to play with acid today in science. Yup, acid. Of course, there are some lab partners that you just can't trust with acid...
When you put 6-molar acetic acid (vinegar) and 6-molar hydrochloric acid together on magnesium, it fizzes a lot and releases smelly, acidic fumes. Don't want to breathe that stuff -- you wouldn't be able to breathe right for a long time. It would be like having a cough that lasted three months.
Here's a quiz:
Would you rather d

Lend me your approval!
Thank you to Varaka for inspiring me to start a content block for blog approvals. Now I need it to grow. So yeah, if you're happy with this blog, I encourage you to drop your approval image in the comments. Or you can clap your hands, but that's not as fun.
Thank youuuuu.

In other news, we have serius plumbing issues at home. Any water we run, drain, or flush gurgles up in our basement. Haven't showered in days (it's cool, i

Today was my second day of exams. Sorta.
We have an entrely different schedule from normal for exams days. Exams are split up into three days with three exam periods each -- that means I have only three (longer) classes in a day rather than the normal nine periods. For example, I had periods 1, 3, and 4 yesterday -- three of my hardest classes. Of course, if someone has a free period, lunch period, or class that doesn't have an exam, he or she doesn't have to att

Happy Halloween!
STAGE STORY
• The other Makuta knew that Teridax would become the Great Spirit, and he promised that they would be his avatars in the universe.
• Having taken over Mata Nui's body, Makuta does have the potential to be omniscient, but he is still a non-Great Spirit mind in a Great Spirit body. So he is not USED to being omniscient, and that is a weakness the Toa may be able to exploit.
• In Mata Nui's body, Teridax still has the powers he had while

I was quite impressed today at school. My friends knew what I was talking about when I said, "So, you hear what they did in Switzerland?" I got into this fanboy discussion with one guy about Nikola Tesla and how the FBI stole away the blueprints for his particle beam, like the real-life plans for the Death Star. Another friend told me that his uber-geeky physics teacher compared the likelyhood of the machine creating a black hole that would swallow up the earth to

How about some grainy but large 2009 set images from the TRU website?

These were a pain to assemble.
While I'm at it, how about some big Bara Magna scenery from bionicle.com?

"Forgive the delay, Turaga." Hey look, I'm here. The internet at my school was knocked out all day, which was a pain.
THE LEGEND REBORN
• On Strakk's banishment: "Right after Strakk's match are the rest of the events of the movie, during which time the Agori are a little too busy worrying about Skrall invasion to deal with administrative matters. They will have time to worry about Strakk's punishment if they survive the war." • The aftermath of the attack on Tajun i
Incredibly, I received my Brickmaster September-October today, on the tenth of the month. I'm a happy man, since typically I get my issue on like the 25th... of the next month. On that subject, I complained to Lego about not getting a July issue, and I am still waiting on that issue to arrive in my mailbox, in September. Is that right? Anyway, here's some photos, including some of the exclusive Klakk set.
The Klakk is a simple set.

It's here! It's finally here! My project MNOLG: The Unofficial Soundtrack is completed and available for download. If you liked the music from the first MNOLG, this should definitely be worth your while. For the first time, all the disjointed audio clips from the MNOLG flash files and various CD material have been assembled into a 21-track compilation for your listening enjoyment.
Visit the topic here.

It's been like a month, right?
BIONICLE 2010
• All characters we know by name survived the death of Teridax. [source]
• All named characters survived Teridax's death and will escape alive from the Matoran universe through any one of the many hatches that were needed for Mata Nui's construction or other means of leaving the robot body. [source]
• Greg would assume that after Teridax's death, the Rahi in the Archives will be released, since it is the only humane thing

Figured it never hurts to ask -- I need to transfer a certain file for a computer game from my Windows XP to a vintage Mac OS computer. If you're a geeky computer game/tech kind of guy (or gal), you could really help me out. For any replies: thanks!
I hope one of these puts a smile on your face. No, I didn't make them. Give credit to the artists' names in the watermarks.
Notice how all of the Google ads at the top of my blog are about staples now. Hmmm...coincidence?

Transliteration: polus
Translation: much, many
Derivatives: anything with the poly- prefix
The greek letter "u" (upsilon) is transliterated as "y" through Latin. Polu, the neuter form of this adjective, becomes poly and serves as the prefix so often used

Tch, what happened this week?
GENERAL
• Element Lords will be illustrated in Legends of Bara Magna.
• Kiina regards Gresh like a little brother. • Tuma and Metus used each other. Tuma was getting information and a go-between with the bone hunters, and Metus was getting a chance to survive the coming war.
• The Agori of the united villages dragged the robotic head from Roxtus because the Rock Agori had fled the village at that point.

That's right, Kickapoo.
That would be the name of a state park I went to on Tuesday and Wednesday. It's summer, and my mom said we needed to go on an "adventure." So what we did was go tubing down a river. That sounded really cool to me for a while. I had this vision in which I could see all of us in a circle in this giant, yellow inner tube racing down the rushing river waters. With the wind blowing stiffly at our backs, the water would then turn white as we hit som

Yes, I've really been wanting to change the title of this blog for a while now. It's old, it's stale, and it was never really that good. So I'll come up with something new. You'll see.

Ξξ
Ah, the Greek letter "xi." Some say it looks like like a box; others, an "E;" others, a spring. What do you think it looks like?
Turaga of Mata Nui
Shortly after the Great Cataclysm, the six Toa Metru – Vakama, Onewa, Matau, Nokama, Whenua, and Nuju – were charged with transporting the comatose Matoran of Metru Nui to a new home: the island of Mata Nui. After an incredible struggle against the Visorak hordes in Metru Nui, the Toa Metru were able to bring the Matoran to the surface of Mata Nui in six airships. With their destiny as Toa fulfilled, the only task that lay before the Toa Metru was awakening the Matoran,

Here I am, well-rested at 6:00 AM after sleeping since 8:00. Such are the wonders of completing all work at school and coming home with none of it. I've often pondered, since my younger and more vulnerable years in first grade, and I've come to realize that without homework, school really wouldn't be bad at all. With a little elbow grease and some good habits, you can maintain a pretty good schedule.
Which nobody can realistically do. And with four AP classes, I
Here it is: the oldest existing topic on BZP, from October 15, 2001. NOTE: Do NOT post in this topic. Just reading through it...WOW. We've all learned to spell much better, it seems. Someone even curses in this old topic. How much we have grown. When you look at all of those old topics, you see some of the presently-well-known members (no one in particular) posts there, and you wonder how they could have actually typed that borderline-incomprehensible stuff. It takes you back in time, doesn't i
