Cell Phone Suggestions?

Sunday, December 21, 2008 I'm choosing a cell phone from Verizon Wireless. I have a problem: the ones I've seen are absolutely terrible. And I mean terrible. Cell phones are the worst they've ever been. There are too many screens, too many smooth surfaces that get smudged up. The buttons are tiny. Touch screens are totally dysfunctional. The menu screens are a gaudy red and black. Nothing about the designs is intuitive. Any good suggestions? What model do you own?

Still Haven't Seen The Movie...

Tuesday, September 22, 2009 Hey guys, just filling you in on my life on this random Tuesday. Yeah, college has begun to get really busy... It's been a month since I've been home. I haven't had time to do things like watching BONICLE: The Legend Reborn. It's sad, I know, but otherwise I'm really enjoying myself. I tell you, freshman year of college is a heck of a lot better than freshman year of highschool, socially, and maybe even academically. And the work I do pays off; I'm getting some good

Hallelujah

Wednesday, August 19, 2009 Seeing this blog again is a beautiful thing. Being off this website for a month was both an inconvenience and a delight. What resulted in the loss of forums, PMs, and blogging allowed room for a certain leisure time from my usual activities here. And although I haven't really spent the last month thinking of what to say at this time, I do have some important things to talk about - about my venturing into a new phase of my life, as well as the state of this blog an

Vakama Animation

Sunday, September 24, 2006 Just messin' around with a big roll of paper, a camera, my Bionicle sets, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft GIF Animator. It took a few hours yesterday and today to put together. Yes, I am very pleased with the results. Comments greatly appreciated! EDIT: (I don't like commenting in my own blog -- it's wierd): Yep, GFLK, I'm alive. Don't get many funnel clouds where I live, though.

Farshtey Feed (p185-186*)

Friday, May 29, 2009 BARA MAGNA • Greg: "The Agori are the native species of Bara Magna. They were not created by the Great Beings, like Matoran were, and they don't even know what a Great Spirit is. The robot pieces visible in the desert are from a Great Being project that never functioned." • Spherus Magna didn't shatter slowly; it shattered quickly. The Great Beings were the first ones to realize it might happen. • Greg: "Well, we know the planet Spherus Magna shattered into three piece

Blog Title Needs To Change

Sunday, July 5, 2009 Yes, I've really been wanting to change the title of this blog for a while now. It's old, it's stale, and it was never really that good. So I'll come up with something new. You'll see.

Onua

Toa Onua was a Toa of Earth and one of the Toa Mata. He was gifted with the elemental power of earth; wore a Kanohi Pakari, the Great Mask of Strength; and had massive claws that helped him in digging. Onua and the other Toa Mata were a part of the legend of Mata Nui, a legend that the Turaga of Mata Nui often told to the Matoran during the millennium between the Great Cataclysm and the Toa Mata’s arrival. The legend itself was spawned by a mix of common Matoran legends, the past experiences of

Farshtey Feed (p199-200*)

Friday, August 21, 2009 I thought I would give you one (possibly final?) Farshtey Feed... SPHERUS MAGNA • The Great Beings created the Iron Wolves, as they did most things, as an experiment, not specifically for use in the Core War. • The large northern forested region on Spherus Magna was located south of the Northern Frost. • There were only the six rival tribes we have already encountered who participated in the Core War. • The Kaxium model was used in the Core War. Turaga

Turaga of Mata Nui     Shortly after the Great Cataclysm, the six Toa Metru – Vakama, Onewa, Matau, Nokama, Whenua, and Nuju – were charged with transporting the comatose Matoran of Metru Nui to a new home: the island of Mata Nui. After an incredible struggle against the Visorak hordes in Metru Nui, the Toa Metru were able to bring the Matoran to the surface of Mata Nui in six airships. With their destiny as Toa fulfilled, the only task that lay before the Toa Metru was awakening the Matoran,

Analysis Vs. Synthesis

Saturday, November 15, 2008 Often the most effective way to understand and experience a Lego model is in taking it apart. All of the pieces are revealed, and how they connected becomes apparent in the disassembly. You can gain a great deal of insight from a model even you yourself built. We also have the art of building, creation, putting the pieces together. It requires knowledge of the rules of structure beforehand, rules you almost certainly observed and learned in the world around you w

A Person Returns

Tuesday, June 30, 2009 I'm back home now. I guess I'll explain it again: I went the last nine days without an internet connection or television. Basically I was cut off from the media. And now I've come back to a world where celebs are dropping like flies. As if Bernie Mac wasn't shocking enough.
