After nearly 6 years, I have reached 5,000 posts on BZPower! Here's the 5,000th one. That's quite a number considering I've never had any post boosts. (I've had a few posts set to invisible by the staff -- does that lower your post count?) I took a screenshot and will let the number sit for a little while, but then I'm off to 10,000.
Anyway, including the posts I've made in COT and the Voting Booth I have a total of 5,038 posts though. I think some were deleted by the pruning.
Can anyone
It's still November 2008, but I already know the names of the Summer (yes, Summer) 2009 LEGO sets.
Bwah-ha-ha!
Sorry, can't tell you the names or where I found them. This is just an entry for me to gloat in.

Does anybody like his comedy? I've been a fan of his ever since around 2006 when I saw some of his material on an online video site. I never agreed with his opinions about God, Christians, and religion in general, though I have to say he's very creative with the way he constructed his material. It was too bad when he died earlier this year.
BEWARE -- if you search for videos of his stand-up comedy -- he uses excessive profanity. Just a heads-up.
If you have another comedian that you reall
From what I know, BZP doesn't block leaked pictures of future sets to protect members from seeing them, they ban them out of respect to TLG, who has financially supported us in the past. This is alright, and in fact I agree that they should do it, but why do we ban the names of these sets after reputable retailers put them up for preorder? Doesn't make sense to me.
This isn't something that really annoys me, just something that I noticed and wanted to bring up.

It's getting to be that time of year again, when I devour enough slices of pumpkin pie for like seven people.
So, I'm curious... what's your favorite pie? Obviously, I like pumpkin, but hot apple pie is good as well.

I'm very excited for this.
I can get sets elsewhere, and banners, and posters and books don't interest me too much, but I have a feeling the collectibles will be really cool. I'm hoping for some VMKK to be available, there will likely be a WMKK in there, a few Misprints, complete Kanohi sets, and that last unknown item sounds really interesting.
EDIT: Wow, the Green System Hau auction just jumped from $1.00 to $25.00 in a matter of seconds!

I hope you're all ready for a little random anger.
At a restuarant, when the bread is cut only halfway, instead of into slices.
Double dippers.
Dog poop on the sidewalk.
Airport security.
Parents who have their children on leashes.
People that do not flush the toliet in public restrooms.
Dirty restaurant bathrooms. It makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is.

I have complained about the new sets, twice a year, for the past 3-4 years. Yes, I'm one of the starry-eyed 2001-fans.
These sets are best in a long time. I only have one minor compalint so far: the hands. I had this problem with Knights' Kingdom when it came out 4 years ago: it looks like the figures have six fingers, and you can't tell which is the right hand and which is the left!
Other than that, I'm lovin' the tan, met
