Life again

I'm not sure whether it's the LDN medication or the fact that my aforementioned friend has got cancer again, but I've been really up and down the last couple of weeks. Things with the medication should be levelling out as I'm no longer upping the dose, but I dunno. My head is sore a lot of the time and I really feel terrible about the friend with cancer because I feel helpless when people are in such bad situations like that. It's really confusing and I don't know what to do.

Dear Life

Please stop being horrible to people I like.   Or no, scratch that, please stop being horrible to everybody.

No No No No No

A friend from school is in hospital with leukemia for the second time in her life. She's easily the nicest and most understanding person I ever talked to there because she's had it a lot worse than I have. Last time she had leukemia she nearly lost an arm.   Life, this is not how things should work.

Good News I Think

I've stopped getting sharp head pains now, and I think I'm beginning to feel a little stronger. I shouldn't jump to conclusions, but it might mean I'm getting used to the medication. I sure hope I am anyway.

Medication

I've been on the LDN for two weeks now, but so far without positive result. I've got the headaches and insomnia, and they're very wearing. I'm not getting to sleep until about 5AM and my head is permanently fuzzy and occasionally quite painful. It had better start doing something good. I'm not even on the full dose yet.

Low-Dose Naltrexone

Here goes trying another medication. It's supposed to improve immune system function, so let's hope it does.   Unfortunately, when first introduced, it has side-effects of insomnia and headaches. But I suppose I'm used to those.

sumikipony.png

Everything I blog these days has something to do with Sumiki... But I found this in his maj and I can't not post it.     Sumikipony is female and has a mustache.

So, November

Time, what have you done? Now I need to start thinking about getting Christmas presents for people.

To Make Sumiki Jelly

Burnt orange trousers.   And also a terribly creased shirt, but the fact that it's sand blue clearly makes up for that.

Halloween

I'm on the other side of the country at the moment with my grandparents, which unfortunately means I miss out on all the Halloween fun this year, but no matter. Have a good Nightmare Night.

One Day

Legend has it that there will one day come a man who can decipher one of the greatest mysteries of the 21st century - Sumiki's Status Updates.

Success

Today I got:   - Burnt orange trousers - Purple trousers - Black trousers - Grey trousers   All of which are far better than the stupid dark blue jeans I've been wearing for ages. Now I just need to find some good jumpers in complimentary colors.

Wednesday WIPS - 24/10/12

I'm not really doing anything called Wednesday WIPS, I just needed to rip off Sumiki in the title. I said I'd try and make my own version of his Teal Mech, so...     I built that at around 3AM last night. As you can see, it bears practically no resemblance to Sumiki's MOC because I got carried away taking it my own direction. That said, it has the Kakama on the chest, the same hip pieces, and more or less the same feet. I don't think I'm going to go any further with it, but the chest/shoulder d

To Kill a Mockingbird

I finished reading To Kill a Mockingbird on Friday morning. It's a very good book, but I suppose that goes without saying.

Not Day 9

I was at the doctor's today for a review of the last week, and well, the diet is finished. I'm not going onto the next stage because I had no withdrawal symptoms and showed no signs of improvement. This means food allergies are ruled out.   It's good in a sense, but also bad, because it means the health front is once again at a dead end, and I'm stuck in another bad spot. I was doing reasonably well during the summer, but since September things have gone way down. I can't draw (Very little menta
