Steam So Far

I've purchased Portal 2, Bastion, and The Witcher (Don't know much about it but figured for $2.50 if I don't like it... not a huge loss).   I need to buy Trine today.   Amnesia, Sims 3, Legends of Grimrock, and Audiosurf are on my wishlist.   Unfortunately I can't even download the games yet because of my internet connection, and that prevents me from playing any multiplayer games as well.

EX-TER-MI-NATE

It stinks not having a huge system collection because I lack a few blocks and plates to make a better Dalek. I based this off some pictures I saw, but had to completely rework the design due to lack of pieces.

Steamy KOTOR

All this talk about Steam reminded me I had bought KOTOR forever ago and never played it, because my system had to be wiped clean and I never bothered to reinstall it...

Went and had lunch with the girl I met a week or so ago. It was nice.

Philharmonic

I've been listening to the New York Philharmonic Radio on Pandora for the better portion of this evening, and I must say it has been amazing. It has been nonstop Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Batman, Lord of the Rings, Lord of the Rings, and so much other awesome.

Brickfair

Brick badge already engraved.   Whoops. Well I guess I won't be changing my name after all...   Hrm. Oh well. I'm more than okay with the name I have printed.   If anyone can figure out what my registered attending name is, I'll reward you with something at BrickFair.   People that already know what my registered is name are exempt.

Pot, You're Calling The Kettle Black

For my one online course we have a discussion board due every Wednesday by midnight. Every Wednesday in this course the professor has failed to post our question on Monday. Three days elapse and she posts the question and work Wednesday, when it is due Wednesday evening.   I'm generally a nice person, but this is getting repetitive and ridiculous. Then the professor has the guile to say that we need to interact more with each other on the discussion board. You sort of can only do the bare minim

Midterm Podcast

I'm so bored doing this eighty question open book midterm that I was listening to music... I decided to download the latest podcast and listen to it instead.

Laptop Crisis Averted

When I woke up this morning and turned on my laptop, I noticed my light for the power charging indicator was not turned on. I put the computer into sleep mode last night, so I could just power it on quickly this morning... I unplugged the adapter and plugged it back in... but nothing happened.   Let's just say my mind went through all kinds of panic. I sell replacement power adapters for people all the time because their pets chew through their cords, or it just went bad... I plugged the charger

Twilight Shenanigans

Today at work I met this girl, and her parents... They were looking for a computer for her to use at school in the fall. They weren't buying just getting some information. It was a complete fluke I even met the girl, because the new guy came over to get my help answering questions. He could have went to anyone.   We started talking and eventually the new guy just left the group, and went and helped out other customers. After a bit the conversation had moved entirely somehow... We just ended up t

Family Computer...

IT is awesome that my relatives just randomly drop off a laptop for me to fix... I ignored the phone calls the past few days because I was busy with school, and the last thing I want to do is work on a computer after a long day at work... selling people computers.   I don't mind doing it, but they really just need to buy a new computer and upgrade. Sure they'll probably tip me for fixing it... but if they bought a new computer they could get technical support 24/7/365 and I'd never have to do an

Who Is This Korra...

No, honestly I know who it is... I just never watched the show.   Working Saturday mornings means I miss all the good shows.   Working Sunday mornings means I miss all the good shows on late Saturday night.

Work Morning Fun

Just sitting outside work in the parking lot with others. The supervisor is stuck in a traffic accident. Just sitting outside chilling.   And I looked at my schedule today, I work the next seven days straight.

Game On!

I have this list of video games I've been meaning to play... but really haven't at all.       I also have other games not even listed like Kid Icarus, Super Paper Mario, and all the Assassin's Creed games...   Too many games to play, and not enough time.... and to think I just got off a two month's hiatus from school. I read a lot of books during that time-frame and caught up on some television.

F. U. N.

First day back to work was blah. I went to bed early enough to get adequate sleep, but I couldn't fall asleep. The medicine I'm on makes it hard to fall asleep and to sleep. By the time I fell asleep at 1am, I was waking up over and over...   5, 530, 630, 640, 650...   The best part was sleeping through my alarm at seven and waking up at like seven thirty. Needless to say, I was tired and running late. Split my orange juice, made a mess packing my lunch, too much salt and pepper in scrambled egg

Prednisone

My gastroenterologist gave me a full prescription of corticosteroids to combat the inflammation in my lower intestine. I'll be on the steroids for about three months.   I know the prescription is helping from what I received at the ER Saturday. I look and feel better. Hopefully for the long term this works out, and I won't have another flare up for another for years.

Doctor, Doctor!

I haven't had any pain recently. It could be the steroids I'm on or the diet I'm sticking to. I had today off work, and I was going to work tomorrow... But now my gastroenterologist wants to see me tomorrow, when I would be working.... Hmph.   I don't want to be off work again, but leaving work for around an hour or two, after only working two hours... And then going back to work just to work another two hours seems redundant....   Grr. Bludger.   At this rate I might as well take Wednesday off

Surface

The show was fairly good in my opinion... Too bad it didn't get more than one season.

Say Ah

Not my appendix. Thankfully. My crohns disease is flaring up though. The ileum and illecocal valve next to the appendix are inflamed, and that is the narrowest part of the appendix to begin with. Solid food traveling through there just won't happen, without pain and consequences... They gave me some steroids and I'm off work the next two days.   Jello and gatorade diet for now though.
