Learned that it is really hard to stick to a budget, and just because I have money doesn't mean I should spend it

Attended my first Lego Convention

Had the most fun of my life hanging with people I never new before college, yet rarely talking to my "best friends" from high school

Bought a sound system

Learned to not be as worried about how people view me

Yeah...budgets are hard at first, and hard later, but then there are times where it's easy just to say "I shouldn't spend money," so you don't.

Very nice. I kind of wish I got involved in scouts down near my school, but I'm not that outgoing and wouldn't know what I would do.

It's really weird how college "makes you friends go away," but you become really close to these new people very quickly, and high school friends become harder to see. I'm only in touch with my best friend from high school, and maybe a few others a few times a year.

Sound system, very nice. I wish I had the care/drive/need for something like that, but I'm good with my computer. I think I want an iHome, but wouldn't use it at much. What would be cool is some wifi speakers for my computer, but those are expensive.

Yes, very important to be yourself, and you'll find your groove/group.
