I have been following Naruto (the manga) for quite a while now, and this week's chapter was rather shocking.
Tobi has always claimed that he is Madara Uchiha, that he wishes to regain his former Mangekyou Sharingan powers, that he let Hashirama Senju win at the Valley of the End. This is rather puzzling as we have seen Tobi with long hair, very similar to Madara's hairstyle, in the past. When he met with Itachi for the first time, he had long hair. When he met with Kisame for the first time, he had long hair.
Is it possible that Madara was alive all this time but then died long after the battle at the Valley of the End?
Another interesting point is that the real Madara seems to know who Nagato is and that he was supposed to be resurrected through Nagato's Rinne Tensei.
Is Tobi Madara's third brother? Is Tobi Izuna Uchiha? Is Tobi the first Nagato since he tells Konan that he gave Nagato his Rinnegan eyes? Is Tobi an accomplice of Madara? Is Tobi even an Uchiha?
Just who is Tobi?
