Assignment: "Write a 400+ word fairy tale for the second year students. Include a glossary of extra words and one illustration. You can't use online dictionaries; Word-processed rough draft is due on Monday, kthxbai."

 

Me: -.-

 

The solution? Take Metroid and transplant it into a fairy-tale setting.

 

Samus is now a magically-enhanced knight, complete with magic armor, weapons, and spells.

 

Ridley is now a dragon with ogre minons.

 

The Chozo are now elves.

 

The Metroids are now fairies that try to eat you. (Was initially going to use pixies, but my teacher's French dictionary doesn't have the word for pixie.)

 

Now, if only Word-processing in French wasn't so cumbersome ... <_<

Didn't take French, but a friend and I came up with some wicked Spanish videos back in high school, for a similiar type of assignment.

 

Fun times.
